“This is my go-to Chinese take-out in the area. The boneless spare rib combo (L44) is always tasty, though the amount of fat on the pork is very hit or miss. Sometimes very lean, other times fatty. The egg rolls are surprisingly less greasy than other CTO's in the area, and the fried rice is fluffy, fresh and delish! I don't think I would ever eat AT the restaurant, but take out is great - good prices, nice hot food and friendly service.“

“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

There was not a problem ordering the food.The brown sauce was a little light on the flavor. The pepper steak was good, guess when they add the oyster sauce into the brown sauce made it better. “Pretty darn good. We have been finding it hard to find really crave-able chinese takeout in the Burbs. We have gone so far as making our own wonton soup with homemade wontons. No more! We ordered wonton soup, crab rangoon, and cashew chicken combo. The wonton soup was D-LICIOUS!! Their wontons have nice, thick wrappers and are filled nicely. I believe they hand make the wrappers, which is a great added bonus to the quality. I'm not a big crab rangoon lover, but my husband is. He raved about them. The dipping sauce was definitely on par. The cashew chicken was good. It lacked the crave-ability I really was looking for, but it was good. Egg roll was great. Pork fried rice was a little lackluster. I highly recommend adding it to your eating spots! I'm excited to try some of the other entrees.“

“items i ordered were slightly better than every other chinese place ive been. general tso chicken had a slight pineapple flavor, hinting a tang-soo-yook (for those korean) profile. veg lo mein tasted exactly how it was supposed to. even the wonton soup had this extra egg/chicken umami to it. added bonus... the mom (i assume owner) and little daughter (just hanging out there) were very welcoming and hospitable to me/wife/my 3 yr-old. perhaps this place deserves 4 - 4.5 since its not like food was anywhere close to Michelin Star level - but i rate as 5 in context of chinese take outs.“

“I love this place. The variety of vegetarian entrees is unmatched for a Chinese restaurant. And the variety is "true variety", not just permutations is General Tso's tofu. Flavors are good, and vegetables are always cooked well and always crisp.Just try it! Get the salt and pepper style, very pleasant.“

“Cool venue, but the food is not 5 stars, except for the Roasted Hen of the Woods and the Wild Mushroom Slippery Noodle (outstanding). For example, the Fried Chicken Dumplings are VERY fried, creating a hard crust that overwhelms whatever little stuffing there is. The Smoked Salmon Fried Rice, was meh, with just enough salmon bits to call the dish "salmon." The braised duck Bao had bits of bone in the meat. It's a cool venue, but based on reviews, I had higher expectations.Four other things need addressing. $0.50 added to each dish and mentioned on the menu, about using that money for "cooks and porters." That should be a management decision and does not have to shared with diners. It's not for the money...it's a distraction to the experience of dining out. The alcoholic drinks are about $12 (way too high) and there are no ice tea refills, so I ended up paying $15 for 3 glasses of ice tea. The service is too fast, clearing dishes the moment you are done and removing dishes of other diners while one diner is still eating. That creates a sense of stress. Finally, there is no signage on the property as to where the restaurant is, so many, wonder about looking for it.“

“This is some of the best Chinese food around the white plains area, very consistent and very friendly, the woman who runs the show is the best, and so is the rest of the family. “I discovered this Chinese restaurant one day when I was in Port chester doing some shopping and going to the movies. I've been here a number of times now. It's along Westchester Avenue where there is a selection of various cuisines.The food is delicious and it's not greasy. I love the rice, its bright yellow and full of flavor. The chicken used in the sesame and general tso are fried just right and not too hard. I personally don't eat Chinese all the time and when I do I usually stand outdoors while my food cooks because you can smell the heavy grease inside and down the street. But at Panda I'm able to stand inside to wait for my food because it doesn't smell. This is a cash only place so make sure you have plenty. The man behind the counter is nice and he speaks Spanish which is nice for the customers that visit. Its not a place really to stay long and eat because there's 4 tables. I take my food to go. They also do not deliver.Vegetarian options: They have vegetables only dishes too“

“This place needs a higher rating.Been coming here for atleast 10 years. Food is soo fresh and definitely our go to spot when we're craving Chinese.Everything I've eaten here has been delicious. Maybr it might get packed during the weekends and certains times... thats normal with any restaurant. They have plenty of space and the few times ive had to wait, its been minimal. “Foo Chow, more like Foo WOW! Considering I said “wow” after every bite I took. My friends and I decided to order for our Friendsgiving and it couldn’t have been a better decision! The food was prepared fast and cooked to perfection. The steamed dumplings melt in your mouth and the Crab Rangoons had so much flavor you could feel it in your toes. “I have been purchasing food for take away, and dining in, at East Harbor for over 15 years. I tried my best to support during the pandemic and eat here at a minimum of once a week, if not more. The service is great and you get a good amount of food for the cost. I have never had a bad experience, and if anything they might go above and beyond, unexpectedly. It's got lots of options and while it is not 5 star, it is definitely one of my favourites, and has the cleanest bathrooms in Westchester. As a side note, they have two televisions and are willing to put on whatever game I want to watch, if needed.“

“I rate this 2 on value but 4 on taste. This is your typical American Chinese takeout but at a slightly higher end scale due to the location and clientele. Everything is well done and I personally never received anything that didn't taste fresh. A great example of what Human Village II is about is their make your "own" entre which is very Dominick's of Arthur Ave like . This is where you pick your meat, up to three veggies, type of sauce, and how you want it cooked and this starts at $18 but can climb upwards of $32. They have delicious perfectly cooked non greasy egg rolls but they are $3 each. They offer higher end fares like the filet mignon with Chinese broccoli but at $30. Their Pad Thai while not authentic is one of my favorite Pad Thais of all time. Their Chow Fun with roast pork is just as good as anything in Chinatown but $17. The soup dumplings are great but are $12 and in comparison something like this in Chinatown would be $5. Again, all the food here is very good for the type of restaurant it is, but the prices are simply very high for basically takeout Chinese when for $30+ an plate you can actually go out and get an actual upscale meal. You could argue that $30 an entre isn't bad but the size of each entre really isn't family style.“

“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants reminiscent of older days. They have great tea and crispy dipping noodles. The food is very good. The only issue is that they rush you out when it gets close to closing … and they do close early.. They literally give you the check while you’re still eating. It’s not an overall pleasant & relaxing experience. The staff is very pleasant but the wait staff does walk out when the doors are closed because a bus picks them up. We do takeout more now because of this problem. This is truly a great old fashioned Chinese restaurant that you must try.“
