“Being a customer for more than twenty-two years. Seeing the family working so hard and their kids growing up.This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Elmsford , Hawthorne, Valhalla area! Some of the most endearing friendly service I've ever encountered, both on the phone and in person. You can tell they care about their food and that their customer's satisfaction makes them happy. Wings are so fresh, tender, and flavorful. Crab Rangoon is best in the town and the homemade dumplings are so delicious!!! Especially the bone spare rib is must try , the rib are so tender,so juicy you can tell that they are making fresh every day out of the oven. You will never be disappoint!!!“

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“We had lunch at PF Chang’s today and had an excellent experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything came out quickly, and every dish was delicious.

Our waiter, Josh, provided outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His professionalism and positive attitude really made our lunch even more enjoyable.

“Extremely delicious and authentic Chinese food. As a white person who grew up in Fuzhou, China, this place instantly reminded me of my hometown. The flavors dance on my tongue like a beautiful ballet and my mouth is enveloped in heavenly textures. I seriously recommend this to EVERYONE. As someone who is currently living in Flushing, Queens, I drive to here every week with my wife and two kids. One time my kid didn't like the water the restaurant served, so of course I had to use the kung fu I learned to discipline them. Anyhow, this has to be the best restaurant on Earth. “I remember when Szechuan City first opened how exciting it was to have some new Chinese food in the area. New owners, new ideas, new recipes...all great...for a while at least. After a short time they started to dip down in the consistency of the food...So we stopped ordering from them for quite some time. A little while ago we tried ordering again because we had some workers over helping out in the yard and they chose Chinese as the flavor profile for lunch. Wouldn't you know it...the food was excellent and everyone had great reviews, including us. Happy to say we are back to ordering from them again. “I ordered shrimp with broccoli from East Bamboo Chinese Restaurant and was very disappointed. The broccoli and sauce were very bland, and the shrimp tasted bad and seemed spoiled. I called the restaurant to let them know, but they told me the chef said the shrimp was fresh. Unfortunately, based on the taste, that was not my experience at all. Overall, the food quality was poor, and I would not order from them again.“

“After years of eating at all the local spots (Bamboo Garden, Peking, and New Great Wall) I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in White Plains. The extra drive is absolutely worth it. Portions are “old school” big, prices run about $2 to $3 less than other places, and they always throw in something extra for free. The egg rolls taste just like the ones you remember as a kid, and the boneless spare ribs were superb (IMO). My wife, who usually gets headaches when MSG is used, had no issues here, which says a lot. Just a heads up that it’s cash only and they don’t deliver, but honestly, that’s no big deal when you can eat this well without it costing an arm and a leg!“

“Ordered take out. Was looking for a great tasting sesame chicken made with white meat. Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“

The food is always on point whether it's the sushi or the Chinese food.
The soups are great as are the entrees and the prices although they have gone up a bit are still fantastic.
The place is dated if you go inside. It still looks like the 1980s in there and I expect to see an IROC blasting up central avenue and a bunch of guidos wearing cavariccis and reeking of drakar hanging out the window.... But I digress.
