“What a great place!We, Venture Together, had our Winter Concert there. The place was beautiful! I was told by the owner that it took the staff more than three weeks to decorate for Christmas. It showed...it was absolutely stunning!!The owner and staff were very nice and accommodating to us.Everyone who attended remarked on how nice it was.I was told that the "Breakfast With Santa" event sold out quickly, and I could see why.It's a great venue for meetings, reunions, and events like ours. “What a gem Congers and all of Clarkstown has with Steve's! I recently showed up a few minutes past closing and all the lights were out. I was sitting outside in my truck deciding where I'd go to find what I needed. Before I could leave, Steve opened the door and asked if I needed anything. He invited me in, turned on all the lights, and was happy to help me out rather than see me drive away.Steve and his staff are always eager to please, their product is incredible, and it's a pleasure to support their business.“

My family is very picky and always complain about the food at weddings since it's typically flavorless or bland and you can tell it's made in a rush but when I tell you that Chef Michelle is AMAZING at what she does, she really is. Not only is her food absolutely delicious, she is so reasonable and so easy to work with. We were about 125 people. My family is Hispanic and my husband's side is Indian and we have friends from all over the world and everyone enjoyed the food. It was beautiful, delicious, and she provided food for everyone's food restrictions. So may people came up to me saying that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I was so happy. She really did a great job at providing something that everyone would love, no matter the nationality. She has such a calm vibe and sometimes I would be super stressed out and Chef Michelle would just tell me "it will all work out beautifully, don't worry." And she really makes it work out. I have issues with my venue due to the pandemic and she was able to help me find a new one. She met me on several occasions to go over the menu. She really goes above and beyond for you. She really helped my wedding be the wedding of my dreams. She's an amazing person and the best Chef.“

“Valley Cottage deli has gotten a new cook that is out of this world. Every Sunday we order the western omelette with home fries and it is absolutely delicious. It is also the best one I’ve had. She also makes a great chicken wrap with chipotle sauce and avocado. Keep this wonderful cook she is amazing. .“

“This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. “We have been stopping by A TASTE of DISTINCTION at least once or twice a week sine they opened their doors for business in Pomona. In all that time we have never had any complaint with either the quality of the wonderfully prepared dishes or the pleasant and friendly service provided by the late owner Angela or her family and staff. The food is always fresh, delicious and plentiful and that includes the chicken, fresh fish dishes, fritatas and the great choice of sides always available. The baked goods are too good, especially the scones and fruit filled pocket pies. Eat-in or take out and you will never be disappointed. We have catered large family dinners and luncheons over the years as well as enjoying suppers for just us two. The wonderful new management have carried on the traditions of Angela and her sister.
