“Would love to shout out The Noco Kitchen in Tappan.I reached out asking if by chance i can purchase individual meals for my husband and his partner since they are working tonight at the ambulance corps (unfortunately I wasn’t around to cook!).The owner of Noco accommodated my request and was more than happy to put together individual thanksgiving meals for them.According to my husband & his partner, the food is fantastic!“

“Omg best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Dining room a little sparten but the food makes up for it. Had the full rack of ribs they were fantastic and my wife had the burger which she loved. If anything could be improved I would say the selection of sides were not up to par but overall a great time out we'll definitely go back“

“We just stumbled onto this place and were SO happy with the lunch. I had avocado toast with poached eggs. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the eggs were very fresh, the fresh spinach was not overdone and the sprouts were brilliant. I also had an apple tart that was just the right amount of sweetness and crunchiness; not overdoing the brown sugar topping. When in town; I plan to visit again.“

“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals.All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“

“B&M is a name I've heard about around town for years. I finally tried them myself last year during a Yelp Elite event but had not returned. Well this past week I needed some catering for a really important work meeting. A friend and former colleague spoke very highly about their offerings and the amazing service provided directly from the owner himself. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures but it was such a chaotic day, it completely slipped my mind. The delivery guy showed up right on time with my catering for 65 people - with the leftovers you'd think we ordered for a hundred! We had a wonderful assortment of gourmet sandwiches and salads - one pasta, one Greek. We also had cookies and fruit for lunch. There were no cookies left. This was the one item we did not have extreme amounts of leftovers remaining! My dealers were all impressed with the spread and specifically said they were happy to see this instead of Panera boxed lunch. Jon was a pleasure to do business with and all the people around the office wanted his info for future meetings.“

“I had my entire wedding here at Old Tappan Manor. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. This place is so magical and beautiful. It truly made the wedding look like a luxurious and grand wedding. The venue alone is absolutely gorgeous. The overall opinions from my guests about the food was tasty and excellent. The wedding Coordinator- Vincent was superb. He was always very responsive and so accommodating. My bridal assistant was always around and the best help. Selection of food and liquor options, our liquor luge was a huge hit. I told them to not run out of jameson and they understood the assignment! They made sure we didn’t run out. I was extremely happy. My family and friends had such a great experience and they were so in love with our venue. I would give this place a 10 out of 10.“

“My Daughter ordered this Roast Beef dinner with the works. The roast beef was very tender and tasty and the gravy was an added bonus! The mashed potatoes were smooth and silky and delicious. Aside from being a beautiful, local venue, the food and attention to detail were excellent. My husband and I had our reception at the Westchester Manor on November 11th, 2023 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We received positive feedback from all our friends and family, which made it all the more worth it. Our guests to this day are still complimenting us on the service and the food served from cocktail hour, through dinner and dessert. “The food is amazing I can’t complain, but the service is horrible. I order the same food every Sunday and every Sunday they don’t get it right.Simple pancakes with strawberry, banana and turkey bacon, drink coffee light and sweet. The clerks never get it right. I love the food here I just wish the clerks would pay attention to its regular customers as the owner does .“

The whole event was flawless. The food was good. The only reason why I can’t say that the food was great was that the Chicken Marsala was overcooked. “Beautiful Irish bar in the Bx. I was there to play darts one night. I shoot in a league so we travel around. Dart board on site of course, and away from most people so you can play in peace. The drinks are reasonably priced as well and the bartenders are good too.“

The smoked BBQ here is top-notch, with smoky ribs, pulled pork, and mouthwatering brisket. The prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly. Definitely need to return to try their chicken and burgers. Mickey's Oasis is a must-visit for delicious BBQ in a outdoor setting.“

“I went here for Pick Hungarian Salami, they would slice it on the oval for me. Always picked up at least 4 different types of Pirogies. The homemade mustard and the potato salad. Have recently moved to Florida, finding it to be culturally food deprived. Reading other reviews I see that they ship. I will have to try that.“

Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.“

I spoke to many caterers but then I would have to coordinate balloons/decorations with another vendor...and then I spoke with 8th Day Caterers. It was just an email exchange. I was sent the menu, I ordered online and then I just showed up. Food was yummy, table looked adorable, everyone was happy and fed.“

“We were here the other night for a dear friend's wedding, and I'm here to tell you this place is beautiful! The grounds outside are amazing they had the ceremony in the back, and it overlooked the mountains with the trees it was just breathtaking. The staff here is amazing they're so on top of it, and you really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside. Again, the staff was amazing. This place was so clean, and everybody was just super friendly. There is ample space in what I am assuming to be like a grand ball room, it's huge it's bigger than what I thought it would be there was about 10 tables in there and ample space for probably 10 more. “We have gotten Panini sandwiches at Steve's quite a few times. We've also bought meats there he has prepared dinners you could just heat them up. This man is amazing the sandwiches are so good. I literally have to cut them in four they're so good and so fresh the mozzarella is made on the premises. Everything is perfect. I haven't met the man personally a boy. Oh boy, can he cook.“
