“Not usually one to review but I found it extremely helpful when I was searching for a hotel. Coming from the US, I expect a certain standard and this checked all the boxes. Safety; security was on point no loitering, etc and key card gave you access to only your floor. I got a standard room with a balcony and wonderful view. I picky about bathrooms. It was on point. Hot water, water pressure, decor. Price point way better value than the higher priced options. I'm not much of a breakfast person but there were more than enough options (I'm not vegetarian).“

“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“My friend Tom ordered a Genesee cream Ale Bach. I had never heard of Bach. It is fantastic. You could drive by this large stone parking lot and miss the sign that says tavern. We sat outside and watched the bikes on the Lehigh Trail. Perfect!“

“This is the most amazing little, hole in the wall, dive bar you can find. They have darts, two pool tables (although the railing really gets in the way for pool), and karaoke. We didn't get any food while we were there but they looked like they had a good selection. Aside from the just overall fun atmosphere, they had hilarious signs everywhere. It was fun to just try to read through them all. We will definitely be back!“

“We just had lunch a group of 18 at Salts Restaurant this afternoon and everything was perfect. The atmosphere and service were outstanding even as they also cared for another large party. Due to the snow and the snow plow blocking the ramp a few of us needed help navigating the back entrance stairs. Both Katie and Armando were great helps. They were both very strong and familiar with assisting people. I knew I was in capable hands. And everyone loved their food. The food was plentiful with lots of delicious options. “The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“We had 2 events in the month of February. Meg was my point of contact for both. She has the best communication skills I have ever come across at a restaurant! She was super easy to get ahold of and always answered my questions promptly and efficiently. She was very accommodating with our themed events and made sure the room was set up to meet our needs. The room was organized well and we had ample space for both events that had over 20 people at each one. The food came out quickly and the portions were good and the food was tasty. I enjoyed both my meals and the great service that was provided. When they were made aware of any questions or concerns, they were dealt with quickly, we just had to let them know. There was a discrepancy with the gratuity accidentally being charged 20% for one of the events, but as soon as they were made aware of the situation it was taken care of. They went above and beyond and they will be at the top of my list for my next event!“

We each had a couple of drinks & talked after dinner. Never felt rushed! We WILL be back soon!“

“Came from New Jersey for a 30th Surprise Birthday and The Rail did not disappoint! We were sat outside under the gazebo where food and drinks were served quickly as needed. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip.
