“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“Had a free medium 1 topping discount card so we got pepperoni and added a dozen wings. Good pie! Love the cupped pepperoni. Ordered wings well done medium hot. Nice & crispy and got a side of hot hot sauce. Also ordered extra blue cheese and only got one. Guessing that wings don't come with blue cheese and celery? Overall good value and delicious food . We will be a returning customer.“

“First time ordering here since we moved to the East side and I have to say it’s the best pizza I’ve had yet! Great for people who like a thinner crust with a healthy amount of sauce. The brick oven crust is SO good. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza, their house wing sauce they use is unique, and it was a nice shake up to traditional buffalo sauce. Also their house red on our pepperoni pizza was fantastic! 😍“

“Our neighbor recently recommended Pizza chef so we gave it a whirl after some other very well respected pizza places in the Fairport/Bushnells basin area have REALLY fallen off. Pleased to say after ordering a couple times from here that we have a new favorite for NY style pizza. It’s been consistent each time we’ve ordered so far and tastes great. The style of pie is very reminiscent of the classic slice shops on the corners in Manhattan. Not overpriced either so the value proposition is great! Definitely worth trying if you’re craving that style of pizza. And the people working there have always been nice and pleasant. Looking forward to trying the sandwiches and other menu items in the future too.“

“This is my staple place to grab a couple slices for lunch where they give you a good amount of toppings and the flavor is on point. I usually get the War Eagle which means 1 slice of pepperoni & banana peppers plus 1 slice of buffalo chicken for those in the know. This location can get very busy and there's really only outdoor seating, but the workers are always very efficient and get your order knocked out quickly.“

“As a longtime satisfied customer of Mark’s in Fairport, I didn’t think I could be more pleased with their service, but I was wrong. Tonight I placed an order online for delivery. After an hour I called because it never takes that long for a delivery. It turns out I messed up and did the online order for pickup, rather than delivery. I drove to the store and was greeted by the manager who informed me she was making me a new pizza because she didn’t want me leaving with a cold pizza. When I told her it was my fault and that wasn’t necessary she insisted I was getting a fresh, hot pizza. I was blown away!! In an age of horrible customer service, this young lady decided to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer even though the mistake was clearly my fault! I have been a customer of Mark’s for quite some time and this just proved to me why! Their slogan is “we treat you like family” and, as it turns out, this is not just a slogan but reality! “We have been using Salvatore’s East Rochester for our pizza, wing & mozzarella sticks delivery for quite a while! THEY ARE AWESOME! Food has been hot & delicious upon delivery & web site is so easy to order for same day delivery as well as pre-order for next day if necessary! “We wanted to try a new spot for pizza and Caraglios didn't disappoint. The pizza was well cooked , lots of fresh toppings and any CUP & CHAR Pepperoni. Highly recommend the pink sauce on your pie. Also the wings were great , asked for extra crispy and these came out perfect, meaty and were still crispy once I got home. They have an interesting Buffalo sauce . Only 2 critique is to ask for a well done pizza because they only have a conveyor pizza oven and not a brick oven and to sauce the wings a little more . With all of the specials they have and the quality definitely make Caraglios a must try you won't be disappointed“

One of the best subs I ever had. Bread was soft and loaded with Roast Beef a little messy like I like my subs. I ate the whole sub in the parking lot.“

“Google must be giving out "local guide" status to anyone because Anthony Viscusi is horribly misinformed and possibly blind. The dough at pontillos is NOT frozen. The staff at pontillos makes the dough fresh every morning. There is an entire room in the corner of the dining area with glass walls where employees make the dough. In fact if you come in early enough, usually just after opening, you can watch them make the dough through the glass for yourself. Please remove Anthony Viscusi from being a local guide as he is obviously a terrible critic.“

“I love going to Salvatore's. It started years ago when our father would take us for sub night. After working at his shop when we were little. I go there now for their Calzones and subs the food is great and you can't beat their daily deals!! I can make those 2 meals last me most of the week for work or at home. I'll have to take some more pics to show everyone the food. Now I take my own son to grab food weekly. Nothing bad to say about the establishment. The staff is friendly and on the spot.“

“Plenty of parking. Nice fire pit outdoors. Only Monerade noise so I wasn’t too bad. Nice to car. Surface was excellent and very prompt. They did screw up on my allergies as they specifically said I’m very allergic to a certain seed and when we order the octopus, it was covered in these seeds. Chefs were not paying attention. They made us a new one. No comp was given. The food overall was very good. Octopus was tender. The ricotta appetizer was good, but not nearly as good as Rocco on Monro Avenue near the city. They still have the best homemade ricotta downtown in town. I ordered the dock which was tender, and my wife had a short ribs which she loved. She also got the vegetable salad dish, which was very good and grilled perfectly. Drinks were on point. A lot of older people. It was disappointing that they put pecorino cheese on their linguine and clams as you’re never supposed to mix cheese with seafood with Italian food anyway. That’s not authentic. If it wasn’t for the cheese, the dish would’ve been perfect. They did a good job overall. I would still recommend it.“

“Crazy Tuesday Special $14.99 for a large with a topping is a pretty good deal! I can’t tell you the last time I was at the Canandaigua location because it was pretty awful the last time I was there. Iffy pizza and rude employees. Totally different story this time around. Not sure if they got a new manager or what but not only was the pizza pretty good and much better than before but the environment was totally different in a good way.
I did order “thin” crust and it wasn’t what I would consider thin but it was fine. Cup char pepperoni and as great. Good amount of cheese. Pretty solid and the price was right. Not a fan of the small slices though. I’ll request a 8 sliced pie next time and see if they do it.“
