“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“Kid-friendliness: We came here for some quick lunch after playing at “ladybugs play” in the same plaza. It was my son’s 4th bday. They pushed their small tables together for our family, and put on a show of tossing the pizza dough when they noticed my son was watching. One gentleman offered my 2 kids free ice cream once they finished their lunch since it was Niko’s birthday. Not to mention how DELICIOUS the pizza was. I’ve never noticed the flavor of the sauce on my pizza before, but theirs was so good that it was noticeable to a casual pizza eater. We will certainly be back!“

“I don't often recommend a pizza place, but this small town place is outstanding. Generous portions, rotating $10 deals, quiet, clean establishment, and quite a variety.

It is pizza from THIS area and Culture which I find is about halfway between thin crust of NYC and deep dish of Chicago.

I grew up on this style pizza, and it's well cooked without being overdone, overoiley, or over cakey.

“As a longtime satisfied customer of Mark’s in Fairport, I didn’t think I could be more pleased with their service, but I was wrong. Tonight I placed an order online for delivery. After an hour I called because it never takes that long for a delivery. It turns out I messed up and did the online order for pickup, rather than delivery. I drove to the store and was greeted by the manager who informed me she was making me a new pizza because she didn’t want me leaving with a cold pizza. When I told her it was my fault and that wasn’t necessary she insisted I was getting a fresh, hot pizza. I was blown away!! In an age of horrible customer service, this young lady decided to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer even though the mistake was clearly my fault! I have been a customer of Mark’s for quite some time and this just proved to me why! Their slogan is “we treat you like family” and, as it turns out, this is not just a slogan but reality! Kudos to this young lady for what she did for me. It will not be forgotten and I will continue to patronize Mark’s as I always have. Thank you so much for your kindness!“

“I have always loved Caraglios! I was very excited when I heard it was coming to Fairport and I have not been disappointed. Same great pizza (especially the country sweet chicken wing) and outstanding service! My family does the slice a day membership and we have gotten to know the people that work at the Fairport location. Everyone is so personable and thoughtful. “Great pizza but they seem to close whenever they feel like it. It’s a Friday night at 7:30 and they are already closed. They just received y updated their hours but what pizza pace closes at 7pm on a weekend. “Google must be giving out "local guide" status to anyone because Anthony Viscusi is horribly misinformed and possibly blind. The dough at pontillos is NOT frozen. The staff at pontillos makes the dough fresh every morning. There is an entire room in the corner of the dining area with glass walls where employees make the dough. In fact if you come in early enough, usually just after opening, you can watch them make the dough through the glass for yourself. Please remove Anthony Viscusi from being a local guide as he is obviously a terrible critic.“

“I just love it when I'm traveling and find a new eating establishment that piques my interest.
It had been many many moons ago that I moved out of the NY area. And I've been hankering for some authentic NY style ? ever since.
That's why when my sister, my nephew and I searched and came across Salvatore's. It was a no brainer. And we are so happy with our decision.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very laid back and comfortable with ample seating indoors and out. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We got a brief history of how and who opened the pizzeria. Very interesting information.
And when it came down to ordering, my sis went with Ham Calzone, my nephew went with wings and I, a couple classic pepperoni slices. And we could not have been happier with our orders. Everything was superbly presented and tasted great. The vibe was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I highly recommend anyone needing their pizza fix to stop into Salvatore's. You won't be disappointed.“

“I love going to Salvatore's. It started years ago when our father would take us for sub night. After working at his shop when we were little. I go there now for their Calzones and subs the food is great and you can't beat their daily deals!! I can make those 2 meals last me most of the week for work or at home.
