“I come to the area maybe 2-3 times a year for softball tournaments and I never miss an opportunity to stop in at Valkyrie for coffee. I love their specialty coffees and last visit I took a gamble and purchased a bag of coffee to take home with me (they were kind enough to grind for me). Well, here I am on their site ordering 2 more bags for delivery since I won't be back in the area for a few months. The Brazilian Salmo is delicious!“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Meadow Blues Coffee in Chester, NY, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. But what really made my visit unforgettable was the incredible performance by bluesman Kevin Burt. He was simply outstanding! His soulful voice and masterful guitar playing had me tapping my feet and humming along to every song. The energy and passion he brought to the stage was contagious, and it made for an unforgettable afternoon. In addition to the amazing music, the coffee at Meadow Blues was some of the best I've ever had. I tried their espresso and was impressed by the rich, bold flavor and smooth finish. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I would give Meadow Blues Coffee a glowing five-star review. “I ordered an ube milk tea and omg is it amazing. I love ube for its rich flavour but this by far is the best. The service was amazing the lady was so sweet and I just felt so cozy inside. The consistency of the Boba is perfect, not too tough not too squishy. 10/10“

“The sandwiches here are fantastic, unfortunately this would be a five-star review but their coffee there was so strong/bitter that it was undrinkable and when I told my server that she told me that she has heard that from many other patrons as well, it upsets me when a place that has this quality food cannot produce a proper cup of coffee and if this is not something new they should do something to rectify it. This place has really great side salads and many other great beverages that you can enjoy but I was hoping for a good cup of coffee and unfortunately, it just missed the mark. I would still highly recommend this place for one of the best eateries in Middletown New York, and would go back again.“

“This coffee shop is a gem of Middletown and Orange County! First and foremost the coffee is AMAZING! From the different flavor and seasonal crafted lattes and cappuccinos (hot or frozen they’re a must try!), to their pastries and traditional breads….it will bring you either nostalgia or take you on a new coffee shop experience. Customer service is amazing and I have watched the attention to detail when customers that came in ordered. I have to mention that there’s also a bunch of antique shops and other interesting stores on this strip of Main St. That you can walk around while sipping you coffee! The aesthetic of the shop is also warm and welcoming with some Puerto Rican flavor sprinkled throughout!“

“The bread here is great, the croissants are fluffy and crispy! The new burgers at night are also amazing in no small part thanks to the buns. I knew a bread company would probably have good buns but these were really next level. The burger and sauce and fries and onion rings were all fantastic, I think it's the best onion rings I've had in a long time. And did I mention the buns! So so good!“

“The bagels look good and there are lots of spreads, breakfast sandwiches, sides, chips and drink options. I was asked if I wanted my bagel toasted and I said no, but it was toasted anyway so I can't really speak to the bagel texture. The walnut raisin spread was not so great. I enjoy sweet but all I tasted was an overload of brown sugar, so much so that I wiped most of it off the bagel. I gave this one star above what I would for my own bagel because the people I was with all really enjoyed their food, and some of the other bagels looked good to try. I would give this place another try if in the area again.“

“Very nice cafe. The staff are super friendly and the prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is a little dull but I guess that is to be expected at a medical place. It feels like a hospital cafeteria. Bagel Bar and the Lacas Coffee was good. Many repeat customers come here and their specials of the day seem to be popular.

“Good coffee. Wish they had food! No food until 11:00 for my friends and no gluten free food at all. My friends and I met up here in the morning after reading reviews of coffee and crepe cake. Not only did they not have have the crepe cake, they didn’t have any food.

Parking: Had to park in municipal parking a block away. Not a big deal.

“I witnessed some ladies get very upset after a 2 minute wait the other day. The employees are so patient and polite even when having to deal with these rude, impatient people. They claim they waited over 20 minutes but I walked in behind them. They were not ignored. They were greeted as I was. They were too busy chatting and laughing. Now I see their review and it hurts that they would slander like this. The poor staff deserves better they give their all even when short staffed and they deserve a raise.“
