“Alondra's is a fairly new restaurant in Middletown. It is a Mexican restaurant with most of the usual Mexican entrees. Instead, we ordered from the Special Entrees: Tres Amigos Platter and the Salmon Azado. Both selections were excellent. The Tres Amigos Platter has three main items: steak, shrimp, and chorizo. Also, the sides were guacamole, fried onions, and cactus. The chorizo, steak, and shrimp were plentiful and tasted very good. The fried onions, guacamole, cactus, and fried onions were excellent. The salmon was grilled perfectly and tasted very good. It was moist and flaky. The sides were black beans, rice, and a salad. We had leftovers for the next day. We would have rated Alondra's a five but we were disappointed that the restaurant did not list the price for a glass of wine. When we ordered the wine, the amount of wine in the glass did not justify the price of the wine. The restaurant has two entrances: one on King Street and the other on North Street. The restaurant is located a few stores from Franklin Square, the main downtown intersection of North Street and Main Street. Parking is available in the lot on James Street, at the rear of the restaurant.“

“This be that family atmosphere, The staff is very friendly and you can see they work well together. BUT THE MAIN THING IS THAT WAS THE BEST BLT I EVER HAD. I am not exaggerating - BLT sweet peppers and mayo - you will never go back. Whoever was cooking back there blessed my sandwich as if they were a priest venturing the lands of the earth in order to erase the existence of the demonic presence. This sandwich was worth every penny and I will travel the infinite void in order to obtain that sandwich again. Not even a God - Not even my mom will stop me from draining my wallet to fill my day with happiness as I enjoy this sandwich. “I went to La Riviera Maya, and tried high, medium, medium-low, and low level taco restaurants in the area, and I must said, non of them compared to the ones in this place! I was always comparing every taco I’ve tried with the ones from Ruben’s and the closest one was the medium-low level one.I recommend this place 500%“

“One of the greatest delis in the area & just like the title States it's at the corner of Ski Run and Burlingham Rds, across the street from the post office. Call ahead to have your order placed as to make your short stop that much quicker if time is an issue. Great food and the deli meats are always fresh“
“Excellent place for bagels and breakfast. Good variety and bagels are soft. Both savoury bagels and sweet, i.e cream cheese bagels are really good. A lot of regulars that patronise the shop. We also tried the potato salad which is as close to my homemade as I’ve ever purchased from a deli. “Have stopped in here now and then for years. It's a fairly small deli with not the best parking. It being adjacent to the postoffice can make it not the easiest to get in and out of. This is especially true since the post office closed the other entrance/exit because of the bridge update Made visibility very poor, creating a hazard. So it can be tight getting in and out for parking. But not drastically so.I like the front porch area. It gives it a homey feel. The inside is dated because in reality, it is an older building. The deli itself is more of a no frills deli. They do not have a large assortment of items. They tend to stay on a smaller scale and concentrate more on their prepared food. I have had numerous sandwiches both breakfast and lunch type. I have never had a bad sandwich over many years. But to be fair, some are better than others.I have sat to meet friends and have coffee and a bite at one of the two or three tables they have for their customers. Again, it's a small deli. But the lack of product choices allows for being able to sit and have coffee and a bite to eat. It is a nice trade off compared to busier deli's.All in all it's a nice little deli. From my experience this is not a politically correct type of place. As such people feel welcome no matter what they believe . If you're OK with that, you might like it. If only your opinions matter, maybe not.“
