“We love Maganini winery, the food is amazing, we love the wine, the staff is fantastic, and so are the owners. We go to Maganini whenever we are in the area, sometimes that’s every weekend. The live music is great, and we love the fact that they host different events. You have to try one of there 6 course meals.“

Bartenders are fast with your order and incredibly friendly, grabbed a bench for our food on the lawn and the owner John came by in an atv and asked if we would like him to start up a fire for us in a pit nearby, guy is a gem to talk to and full of information about the surrounding area. Place is relatively inexpensive for what you get (especially if you are used to NYC prices for everything) worth the trip up from the boroughs. Kid and dog friendly too. Looking up food delivery in that area and found Taco Factory...ordered street tacos and they were as good as I've ever had...delivered to me hot, fresh and awsome...the owner took my order and delivered to me. “Delicious New York pizza 🍕 I was exploring the area and searched Maps for pizza joints. This one was close the the area I was photographing and highly rated, so I stopped in and placed an order!
The interior is classic pizza restaurant. The service was fast and friendly, answered my menu questions. Wait was relatively short and the pizza was served hot with gooey cheese 😁
I decided to eat on a table outside the shop and enjoy the people watching.
I forget which slices I ordered, but do know that one had potatoes. Both had chicken and peppers. Both slices were delish 😋

“Awesome place with amazing food and atmosphere! So far I've tried the burgers, chicken sandwich, quesadilla, french onion soup, truffle fries and quinoa salad, never had anything I didn't like. Prime Rib special is a must! Outside is newly renovated, added new fencing and picnic tables and lots of outdoor seating. Bar is a lot of fun as well, great drink specials. I find their weekly events like live music and karaoke nights on their Facebook page.

“We had our wedding here on 10/4/25 and it was absolutely incredible! The venue itself was gorgeous and had such a great charm to it. All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting us on how great it really was. Our photographer kept saying how good a place to take photos it was. Obviously we had high expectations for this night and it was exceeded. My wife said that it was so much better than she had ever dreamt it could be. The staff went above and beyond and made our special day as stress free as can be. Elaina and Steven were fantastic! Everyone was, but unfortunately I only wrote down those two names so apologies to anyone else who may have been working this event but THANK YOU to everyone. Friendly and patient staff I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was incredible and the beers were cold. They accommodated us so well and we are extremely thankful. If you’re looking for a place to host an event this is it! Or if you’re just looking to grab a drink and a bite this is also the place to go. “Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. “I have frequented the restaurant several times over the years and have always had an enjoyable experience. Until yesterday. The charm of this establishment is the show that the chef puts on. While the food technically met with the restaurant’s standards the show was sadly far below expectations. The chef went through everything as if he was performing a time trial for a NASCAR pit crew. There was no showmanship, the pieces were either to large or to small, no uniformity. Just every part of the expected show was rushed and ruined the experience. I did notice however that other chefs were providing the standard experience that we would have liked to also have enjoyed. I hope that this was a one off and not a trend of decline in this establishment“

Brother Bruno’s in Middletown surprised me. I tried their chicken cutlet with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, American cheese, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar—absolutely amazing. Easily the best cutlet I’ve had so far, scoring a solid 8.9/10. The size was great and the blend of all the flavor were perfect.

The cold cut was excellent, but the pizza, while flavorful, wasn’t the best in Middletown as they promised nonetheless—thin, tasty and appealing . Fries were good too, just needed a touch more salt. A strong contender, but the hunt continues!“

“Food made with love and care and the price is right most tacos are only tres dollars that’s three for all you gringos it’s nice on the wallet and keeps the belly happy at the same time generous portions and everything cooked to perfection except for the steak can be a little dry. I would pick the lengua aka ox tongue a lot more tender and juicy if you go the bovine route. The enchiladas with mole was bomb and the chile relleno is to die for that’s green chilies fried and battered with a cheesy filling. And don’t get me started on the rice and beans and next door you got rock fantasy after a meal you can go to the pinball arcade what a perfect date“
