You missed us by about 10 minutes. I told him I had just left a doctor’s appointment and was trying to get gluten free bagels for my daughter because she really enjoyed their bagels. He stopped and said he had three in the store. He went back into the store and brought me not only the 3 bagels but some frozen ones as well. His name is Mike and he is the owner. He didn’t have to go back into the store but he did. He made my day. There really are kind people in this world. Thank you Mike! You have a customer for life.“

It’s a modern twist on sandwiches, bowls, and salads. My favorites are the Mediterranean salad (the marinated chicken is incredible!), the spicy turkey sandwich (packed with flavor thanks to their house-made chipotle aioli), and the Japanese egg sando. “It was my first time coming into playa bowls Merrick and I was helped by Alicia and Quin they had amazing customer service. I was confused by the huge selection of açaí bowls and had many questions and they were happy to answer them with no hesitation.I eventually chose my açaí bowl and it was very flavorful filled with fresh fruit and delicious. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Playa Bowls Merrick.“

“Stumbled upon this place by a Google search and I finally decided to stop in the other day. It's located inside the multi tenant building so you can't really see it from the outside or as you come in through the parking lot. Nonetheless, I had ordered an açaí bowl and an orange you glad juice which was just the perfect blend of orange, carrot & ginger! It was fresh and full of flavor! My açaí bowl was also good and packed with fresh fruits (very berry bowl). I would deff come back here in the future and can't wait to try out the other options!“

“GrillMak has been a favorite spot of mine for probably almost 10 years now. My go-to's are their sticks - Filet Mignon, my favorite, but their chicken and pork sticks are delicious as well. Occasionally, I will go with the filet mignon gyro when needing a more complete meal. Their sweet potato French fries are a nice side to any meal. There is plenty of dining seating indoors and some outdoors during the summer. You will find plenty of parking here as well.
