“Thom Thom is one of my favorite restaurants in my area. They serve many different type of sushi, seafood, and meats. I'm really great friends with the owner and sometimes it does get super crowded because it is a popular place! Make sure to make reservations because of this. The service of everyone is great they are all really hard working in the restaurant and bar and you can have great conversations with the servers. The ambiance of the place is a bit dark but it has a ton of seatings!“
“Our waiter Stefanie was phenomenal. Great attention to detail. She gave us service with a smile. On top of her amazing customer service the other staff members were excellent as well. The young lady who assisted in bringing out the food was a rock star. The icing on the cake was watching the this super hero clean up after each party left their tables belly full. This man was fast yet efficient and meticulous. Me and my family were happy and comfortable. We knew we chose the right place to eat. When I want some outback I'm definitely driving past closer outback establishments to get to this gem in oceanside.“

The food was good, and the drink I had was very delicious, which was a blueberry lavender lemonade with vodka, but I didn't taste or get a buzz of alcohol at all it could have used another shot of alcohol. “Took my father out for his birthday. The first complaint is the 30 minutes we waited for a table with a reservation. Beautiful decor in a comforting setting. The waiter was amazing! I cannot emphasize how great he was. The food from start to finish was perfect. All the appetizers were great and all 6 of our entrees had us smiling. My steak was top 3 I've ever had. Drinks were delicious but lacked creativity. I felt like they could have had a little bigger drink menu. The dessert I had was good but this was the dullest part of the evening. Boring menu, 2 cheesecakes, one chocolate torte, apple berry pie and one Mississippi mud. Extremely lackluster for a top tier restaurant. I still would recommend it to everyone just for the starters and mains.“

The waitress was amazing, reciting an extensive list of daily specials and remembering everyone's order with the finest detail. I never thought of this place as a prime sushi location, but I was delightfully mistaken! Amazing, fresh cuts of fish. I am very particular about my steaks, though, especially considering this is a well-known steakhouse. I ordered medium rare, but it was pretty significantly overcooked. It was still delicious, and I didn't want to make a big deal of it. But, because of how expensive everything was, I was tempted. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. I'm just hoping for the correct steak temperature for next time!“

“This steakhouse is amazing! My husband and I have been here several times and it never disappoints! For appetizers the clams oreganata are delicious!! And for entree we always get the porterhouse for two which comes with two sides and its perfect!!!! It has a nice crust on the outside and cooked perfectly inside (med-med rare). The mississippi mud pie is to die for! I always get this dessert to finish the night off haha!“

They also serve sushi which I did not have this time but I want to return to sample. The price is typical for what you'd pay at a steakhouse, but the atmosphere is really really good.“
