She suggested some delicious sauce to go with my sweet potatoes. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed playing pool. We definitely will plan for many more visits to Smokey Bones :)”

“We had reservations for a party of five and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server, Maria, was at our table immediately to take our drink orders. For appetizers, we chose the Sautéed Greens and Poutine. Both excellent. For entrees, four of us chose the Filet Mignon and the fifth chose the special, NY Strip Steak. All just melted right in your mouth. This was our first time here but definitely not our last. Then to top things off, the next day I get a call from the owner, Charlie, who wanted to know how our dining experience was. You never hear of that anywhere today so you know he takes great pride in his business. I should note my daughter brought home her leftover Filet Mignon to her boyfriend who raved about it and also said it was the best he ever had.”

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse. The fries are immaculate with the perfect crispy exterior, and soft smooth interior. My go to main dish is the Kefta Kebab, and they always fulfill my request of extra Sumac on the side :) The staff is so friendly, it's always pleasant to come here. I am moving and this will be the place I genuinely miss the most in Syracuse!! I forgot to take a picture before eating, so here is a picture of my leftovers from the Kefta Kebab platter. This is a must visit restaurant if you like middle eastern food!!

Edit, forgot to say: I also took notice of how clean this restaurant is. Every time me and my family come in, I see how sparkly clean all the tables, kitchen, and bathrooms look. This puts lots of confidence in quality!”

“Found this little gem while in Syracuse for a concert. We walked in and it was packed (good sign). It took a little bit to get served but it was slammed. I got the sausage gravy biscuit bowl, delicious! Very friendly staff, the owner was on the grill pumping out orders. We had a great experience and would definitely go back.”

I’m not big on pizza - (I did take a bite of the kids & actually liked it) I ordered an antipasto with onions for myself and it was bigger and better than expected. I love finding places that have pandan flavored items as it's not very common in the area. I love that they have items here with it! “Dined here last evening. The warm brie appetizer was very good and a nice change from ordinary appetizers. The steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. For dessert I had the chocolate torte which came with raspberry sauce. The combination of the chocolate and raspberry....yum! The staff were all nice, friendly, and informative. “First, Rosalies has always been a place my friends and I love to stop to get a drink, share some apps, and always get a dessert. So I knew we had to bring all our closest friends and family here from out of town for our Rehearsal Dinner. BEST DECISION EVER. Service was outstanding, the process was simple, and the food never stopped (family style service). Everything was beyond delicious and we even had a couple compliments made that it was the best Rehearsal Dinner meal they had ever had. Cherry on top was getting to be in a gorgeous private room with all our family and friends who then all got sent home with the leftovers to enjoy all weekend! Thank you to all the Rosalies staff for such a greta experience!”

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.
Great experience all around. My first time there. I'll be back!”

“Oh my GOSH. The Brooklyn Pickle sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The signature pickle chips, the pasta salad…everything we ate was superb. Being from out of town I sorta expected the staff to be impatient with me taking my time and asking questions but they could not have been more patient or sweet.

“Was invited for the Syracuse Duke basketball game. But before had a wonderful dinner at Joey’s Restaurant. Noticed Big Mama’s Cheesecakes, hm, interesting/catchy name. Make note this is one dessert that so many make, so many claim to have so called mastered etc it is extremely difficult to master. From my 33 years of experience & being a 3 star chef from Manhattan & serving the biggest names in any form of entertainment I have to express that in this crazy culinary business this cheesecake was well beyond anything I have ever tasted. Magnificent isn’t even enough to say. There is a famous restaurant in France named Les Papilles. Exceptional in bakery especially cheesecake. The cheesecake here in Syracuse is right there with Les Papilles. This is a complete lottery win for this area of the country. I’ve been around the globe and have visited many culinary gems, this is in my top 20. Absolutely brilliant”
