“Many of the staff from the Pawling Ave store moved to this location. It is not the closest store to me...but I will follow the staff from Pawling! They are so amazing! They know I get extra lettuce for my dog to share. The last 2 times I was in the store...they gave me a little container just for her! Amazing staff!!!

“Honestly it's Subway, I place an order online, get there when I expect the order to be ready and it's done correctly and waiting for me. Great staff each time for the past 2 years I have been going, food is good for Subway. Not much else to say, it's what it is.“
“This place has some of the best staff of any chain restaurant. They make it feel like it's a local sandwich shop rather than a big chain. The food is always fast, fresh, and the workers have nothing but smiles and good attitude. Don't be deterred just cause the sign says Subway, this place is great.“
“Two thumbs up. I was in a hurry and stopped in while running errands on my lunch break. I got back to work, opened up my sub, and was horrified to find mayonnaise on it, when I did not order mayonnaise (and to say I do not like mayonnaise is an understatement).But.....I called up the shop, and they delivered a corrected (and very tasty) sub to my workplace. They didn't give me a hassle about it at all. Good on them, and I'll definitely go back. Thanks for going the extra mile (or in this case, about 1.62 miles round trip) to get it right!!“

“The 2 young ladies working at this location on 7/20 deserve to be recognized and commended for their courtesy and service. I'm a recently displaced vet and completely unfamiliar with this area. So that is to say, their friendly attitudes and courtesy were exemplary - in a time where that's rare in most American retail operations anymore - and made the experience even more pleasant than the food. Which was also a nice surprise, and well prepared. I can recommend this place as long as these two are running it.“

“Wonderful, quiet place to eat with family. Today the 2 ladies working were amazing working together as a team to get our 6 subs put together quickly.We are from out of state and family suggested we get lunch there. Definitely glad it was suggested.They even offered to carry it to our table, seeing we had our hands full. My wife had it under control and thanked them for offering. You don't see service like this much anymore. Store was decorated so qauint for fall as well. We will be back definitely on our next visit to our hometown. Why? Food was fresh and very tasty especially the crisp golden nuggets which our kids loved the most with the cheddar cheese. They gave us some nugget cups for our 2 little ones with lids which made it easier for them to drink out of. Much appreciated. Thank you!!“
“I gave this place three stars because I normally don't go into the convenience store but I frequently visit the liquor store which is located next door there's an older gentleman that has been working at the store for years and years and years he is very nice he greets me every time I go in there we have good conversation he is very pleasant when I don't see him I get worried about him but other than that the liquor store friendly atmosphere but the convenience store depending on who's behind the counter that's up for grass because I have dealt with an unprofessional employee at the convenience store so I choose not to go to the convenience store anymore“

“We stopped by for a quick dinner on our way through town. We each had a Nepa - a roast beef sandwich au ju. The staff cooks the meat fresh in the juice and was hot, tender, and delicious. We had the horseradish Mayo and it had just the right amount of zing. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will certainly stop again.“

“Di’Bella’s is an institution in Albany - and for good reason. Di’Bella’s began in Rochester in 1918. Their bread is baked in house, their ingredients are fresh, and their meat is of a higher quality. The atmosphere is dripping in their storied history and dining in feels like dining in a working museum. The downfall of Di’Bellas is the price point for their +7 inch subs and their artificially retro vibe.
The only meal deal they had at the time of my visit was a mini meal with a 5 inch sub, 20oz drink, and chips, cookie or pickle for $9.99. For the price point, it’s a valid deal. If you want any sub bigger than that, however, it’s somewhat costly. I ordered conservatively and had the 7 inch Di’Bella Cheesesteak with a large drink and a pickle. Cheesesteak: $9.79, drink $2.99 and a pickle is $1.49. All together my meal cost about $14.27. For a more casual, laid back restaurant without wait staff, $14.27 seemed excessive. I recognize they use fresher ingredients and bake their bread in-house but there are certainly cheaper options in Albany with similar qualities.
The other compliant I have is the interior of the restaurant which was the artificial retro vibe of the tables and benches. The tables and benches need a serious upgrade. It took away from the down-home vibe they were hoping to achieve with Di’Bella’s story written on the walls. With the aggressive 2010s harsh coloring, bright lighting, and artificial retro tables and benches it seems as though the restaurant can’t decide which era or genre it is hoping to emulate.
Having said all of that, Di’Bella’s flavor is worth the visit alone. They take care of every quality of the sandwich and it shows. If you like high quality subs and exploring time honored restaurants, this restaurant is for you.“

“I placed an online order on 11/11/23 and requested the food be ready in 45 minutes. It was not. Staff had just started making the subs when I arrived 45 minutes after placing it. What's the point of online ordering and selecting a time if the food isn't going to be ready? I would understand if it was during a lunch rush, however, that wasn't the case. Why did I wait so long to post the review here? Apparently I posted this review for a different store, for which I'm very sorry. I didn't find out until yesterday.“

“I have started recently going to Subway restaurants discovering their mobile app and friendly menu to my dietary needs. The staff at this location are so friendly and recognize me by face or know me by name which is really comforting, especially at a franchise. The staff are all great and the food has always been fresh and quickly served!“

“I’ve come here a few times, but today was totally different. I was in line and an elderly gentleman in front of me collapses! He went unresponsive and a skinny brunette lady who works there runs over and performs CPR saving his life! Truly an amazing worker who is a hero. Food was just okay though there was a hard crunch in my cookie so I had to throw it out“

“Listen, I go into this particular spot all the time. They all greet you and ask how they can help-but that’s about it. BUT TODAY……HONEY-JULIANA DID HER THANG!!! My daughter and I were so super impressed, pleased and blessed with Juliana! She was so sweet, polite, extremely helpful and little did she know she calmed my anxiety tremendously! This was the best experience my daughter and I ever had at ANY SUBWAY! And the amazing part is-Juliana wasn’t scripted, coached or anything-you can tell that this is exactly who she is EVEN OUTSIDE OF WORK! So genuine.
