“We had our 2022 Annual Meeting at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester in September 2022. The venue staff was gracious and accommodating, and the food was delicious! Tables were decorated as requested and with minimal guidance. There was sufficient staff to support our needs on the day of the event. Expanded and recently paved parking lot was convenient for our guests. We recommend the UCC of Rochester not just for pub night on Thursdays or fish fry on Fridays, but also organizational or familial events!”

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT”

“We have used The Garlic Pit for about 3 years now for an end of school year luncheon for all of the faculty to thank them for their hard work over the year. This has become a favorite for the faculty and we love putting this on for them. Everything is delicious, fresh and cost effective for feeding a large group of adults. Thank you for everything!”

“I'm not sure I agree with the claim that it is the best sushi in Rochester, but I will say that I think it's among the best sushi VALUES in this area. Overall the food was very good. We ordered a Bento Box A, edamame, two rolls and an order of dumplings. The Bento Box A was simply a massive amount of food. It could easily be split between two people. The salad and soup are standard fare and reasonably forgettable, but definitely not poor quality. The five pieces of sushi and the California roll were fresh, well made and tasted great. The dumplings were delicious. We set aside the teriyaki chicken as a snack to have another day because there was simply too much food to have at one sitting, and the vegetable and shrimp tempura were very very good. We got our food to go but went in to get it. The interior feels a little rundown, but appeared to be clean and was comfortable. I would definitely order food from them again.”

“We are obsessed and plan to be regulars!! We love the cortona, like a margarita and it’s super thin crust, and the Lucca pepperoni with a little bit thicker but still NY style thin, NO FLOP! The owners and staff are always so kind, they smile while they work so you know they love what they do and that’s a vibe! Tiramisu was so good I love that they put it in a cup, and the cannoli with the chocolate and vanilla coating on the shell was genius because the shell didn’t collapse as fast as a plain cannoli would. 10/10 will be back!!!”

“Beyond impressed! This pizza was the only pizza my family would order when I was a kid. We moved to Florida and over the years people have started away from them and we were always disappointed. We tried it twice and we're so impressed I had to review! Wings are cooked to perfection and the pizza is on point! ESPECIALLY the GLUTEN FREE!!! It actually looks, feels and chews like a pizza, not just a glorified tortilla. We will always order from Marks when we come to visit!

I walked into his location with a 4 hour window to order pizza for a family that lost a loved one suddenly. Jerry was empathetic and patient. “I went there between 10:40am to 10:45am 7/23/24 with another person. We walk in and all the employees say hi, hello and /or welcome. They were very lively and welcoming. They were patient when i ordered, i had no idea what to get. They did get my name wrong but it was funny, i didnt bring it up because ive worked in food before and understand just how loud it can be behind the counter, especially when you have a earpiece connecting to drive through. This bunch were all lively and happy and just overall good vibes. This group should be put together more, ive gone to starbucks multiple times and this group hands down is my favorite. Food was fast, service was wonderful. I had forgotten the name of the spinach feta wrap (probably still the wrong name lol) and the cashier knew immediately what i was talking about. You could tell the other customers really appreciated the lively atmosphere aswell. Drinks were some of the best that ive had from there (i could taste each flavor)”

“I want to write this review because there's hope for this restaurant. Sunday lunch was great for me and my wife. Today ( Tuesday) was not too great. We ordered breakfast and only got coffee ☕️. I don't know what was going on, but everyone around us got served. Owner, please don't be afraid to talk to your customers, one day , you may loose them all.
