“The food was delicious, I just wish there was more of a variety. I got the Blackened Beef Tenderloin tips which tasted good but should have had more meat, most of the plate was mashed potatoes. There should be more beef options for dinner, ie: ribeye, prime rib, NY strip steak, short ribs, etc. The service was okay, a little slow. I ordered sparkling water and it came in a bottle with no glass, which was kind of odd. I had to request a glass and then the glass she gave me was tiny. It was crowded in there and a little loud, tables are too close together.“

“I’m embarrassed to say this was my husband and mines first time here being that the restaurant has been around for 20 years! Nevertheless, we couldn’t be happier to have stumbled upon such a low key, humble and delicious restaurant. The parking is a bit difficult as the lot is free but very tight. We had dinner here and from the chai tea to the plates we had (stew, salad, plantain fritters, gnocchi and greens), everything was flavourful, perfectly spiced and delicious. The pricing isn’t bad at all either. They prefer cash payment, but they fo take card. Highly recommend for anyone following a vegan/plant-based/vegetarian diet, since the menu is entirely friendly to these diets. We will definitely be back!“

“Best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life it is so so soooooooo good it is almost orgasmic, just thinking about it I am drooling 🤤 a mist try if you are a cheesecake fan ! Also tried the banana bread it is really yummy and those ginger turmeric bar are also really yummy. The bread is different a little like a pumpernickel I really liked it ! Even if I’m doing a quick market trip, I grab a delicious coconut bar, breakfast blueberry and banana one or soup to bring and enjoy later because I know it’s going to taste great and be packed with flavor. You can really tell she puts so much love into the menu and food and I love this place.“

It looks like it's in a converted bank, but it works. \nMy wife and I love Hot & Sour Soup so we had to order the Tom Yum Chicken (Hot & sour flavor with lemon grass & galanga) and Tom Kha Chicken (Coconut, lemon grass & galanga). Both were excellent, the Tom Kha is a little sweet from the coconut and I loved it.\nMy wife ordered the Mango Chicken which she thought was very good. I saw the Drunken Noodles with choice of Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. I had enjoyed Drinken Chicken years ago and haven't found it again so that was my choice. GOOD CHOICE!\nI enjoyed it very much. It had very wide rice noodles, and lots of chicken and vegetables. Much as the name implies, there is no alcohol in it. It was a very large portion, so I enjoyed what I didn't eat then, for lunch the next day.\nGood food, good service, nice atmosphere. You'll get a good meal here.“

“I parked across from the restaurant. I couldn't find it right away. I usually don't ever park at this end of Schoen nor be in this area. I couldn't see the sign right away. But, eventually I saw it.
This place has three steps going down to the restaurant. It isn't ADA compliant.
There is Handicapped parking in the lot.
When I left, most of the spaces were taken, I had run in for take out. This place, only accepts cash and take out is by phone.“

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. We would highly recommend the Brown Hound.“

“My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. I took the time to ask him to come over and I expressed my concerns and he claimed he would apologize however I highly doubt that he will“

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“My friend and I went here for brunch and the food was fantastic. My photo of the duck croque madame doesn’t show you how much duck bacon they stuffed inside; the fattiness of the bacon is cut by the mornay sauce. My friend got the flavored coffee with their version of the garbage plate and he got free refills on the coffee.

I would suggest coming near opening time because when we left around 11 AM, there was a decent gathering in the waiting room.“

“The service and atmosphere were outstanding. The menu is reasonably priced and the portions are great. They served our meals quickly without compromising quality. The chicken and steak hibachi meal with fried rice was fresh, hearty, and delicious. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to offer an amazing dining experience. I will be returning soon to sample other items from their menu!“

“I hosted a party at O'Callaghan's last weekend and had the best experience! The staff were so accommodating and flexible with our group. There were 25 of us in attendance and Savannah the bartender was such a massive help and so incredibly friendly. We all can't wait to visit again! The backyard patio/deck is stunning also this time of year, and there was a huge tent in the backyard open for anyone to use. What an awesome space that deserves more attention!“

“We sat at the bar and had Mike B as our bartender. The place was pretty busy with food and drink orders. Unfortunately there was an issue in the kitchen and our pizza was damaged. Mike immediately communicated the issue and offered a free replacement. Yea, the wait was longer than expected but with Mike as our bartender we had no problem waiting. Nice atmosphere, solid food and if you're lucky maybe you will get Mike as your bartender 🙌“

“Mixed bag here tonight! Living at Selena's a bunch of times and the chips are good the case it was great our server was pretty friendly a little slow on the refills of our drinks but not so much slow it's just not paying attention.

They were very generous to us and gave us a free dessert cuz it was one of our birthdays and the dessert was really good it was a fried ice cream Sundae.

The place where it goes off the rails and it's not a big thing but we used to love getting their a la carta burrito. It was baked and it came with this yummy cheese an enchilada sauce on it it was fantastic and I want to say it was like eight bucks.

Apparently they change their menu in January and they no longer offer it they do have a variety of $8 burritos and we did get one.

It was a rolled up tortilla with open ends It was significantly smaller than what we had gotten in the past and there was an ounce of veggies and ounce of cheese and a couple ounces of meat. It was beyond disappointing especially when you compare it to what they used to have..“

“My all time favorite Chinese restaurant on this planet. Now, if I could only learn what the ingredients are in the hot oil served with the scallion pancakes. I would love to make that hot oil at home.“
