We called them last minute to see if there was anything they could do to help us feed our family of 15 people for take out. They took care of us promptly. They made a grieving family’s night. “I’m getting emotional just writing this, but Springside Inn truly made our wedding dreams come true. The facility itself is STUNNING and so versatile!!! We decided to have our ceremony in The Grove (beautiful outdoor area surrounded by trees) and our reception in the ballroom, but there are so many options and different ways to use the venue that no 2 weddings are alike. The rooms we got to stay in too are also absolutely gorgeous. Antique charm but state of the art amenities. I am not exaggerating when I say the food and cake were some of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my 29 years of existence. So customizable and delicious! The chef and catering staff are so nice and talented. And last by certainly NOT least…the site coordinator, Chris, is an absolute angel. As soon as we booked the venue, she guided us EVERY step of the way with planning. She is an absolute expert on all things wedding planning and ensured the day went so smoothly. She is such a calm presence and was so attentive, helpful, reassuring, and just overall one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met!!! I feel like I will never be able to express my gratitude for her enough. “Large portions. Kids that were working seemed very confused about money in the register and were arguing with each other about taking money from the cash register and changing it out with the bag money for change, and how busy it was. Which seemed a little crazy to do in front of people. I actually worked at this location many years ago and couldn't fathom not having a smile on my face and handling business as business. But hospitality has certainly dropped.

After that long rant, the ice cream was good and portions were good.“

Ate at the bar; excellent service; the restaurant manager is a super-savvy young guy; the somm is also young and has one of the largest wine lists I've ever seen (50 pages?), including many wines he inherited from a prior regime and which retain their original prices, making them screaming bargains. (The somm knows that; he's just ready to see the old bottles leave.) A really classy interior, and the crowd here gives the place an active vibe. The bartenders were superb -- one likes to experiment and gave me a taste of something he was fermenting. So, these guys not only can execute, they also can create. Most impressive.“

“We had our informal wedding reception at Prison City North Street location in the barrel room. We dropped off our decor the day prior and they set everything up perfectly. We chose the taco bar for dinner and late night pretzels as our food options and everything was delicious. They set up a smaller bar for us in the brew space which worked out great. Amy the event coordinator was great to work with. We would recommend Prison City North Street location for any event!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Pavlos’ last week for my birthday. I was treated to breakfast by a coworker. The meal was second to none. I really enjoy the way In which my food was cooked, presented, and consistently checked on by my server. I’d recommend paying a visit to Pavlos’ to anyone who enjoys a good meal at a decent price. The fact that It’s a cash only business, Is worth the visit to the ATM. To the staff at Pavlos’…great job! ?“

“Heard this place has lots of cool stuff on the walls. Wow does it. A life size king tut, giant gorilla, Funhouse mirrors, and to top it off it even has a used electric chair. Grab a drink and walk around so much to see. The bartender was great. Similar to the Spirit Room in Rochester but different.“

“Stopped today to enjoy an outdoor meal on a nice day. Was not sure what to expect food-wise. Pleasantly surprised ! The burgers are fabulous, the "pudder" burger was made to order,cooked to perfection, and the toppings were extremely fresh. While my wife had ice cream for dessert, I had another pudder burger ! My new fav place for a burgers“

“This place is so cute. It's right across from the prison which normally sounds not-so-nice but it's an old gorgeous building full of history and overlooking a canal. You can sit outside and listen to the water while you eat. The staff was so friendly and the food was good! I wish the wings were spicier but they were so nice and crispy.“

“Walmart is one of those places to hate to love lol. They have it all in one store. I sometimes rather go to the self checkout because some cashiers don't know how to fix simple things like a price change or they just ignore you when you bring it up to them so you have to go to customer service afterwards. Or some of them are just rude or slow as molasses.“

“My husband and I took my parents out for dinner tonight and our server was fantastic. I don’t remember her name but it was unique and it was so pretty I don’t want to butcher it. My husband and I shared the fajitas for two and my parents got the full rack of ribs. Everything was so good and our waitress was delightful. Great conversation.
