“We have been meeting friends at the Acorn Pub for years and are so thankful for the friendliness and service we always find there. We had burgers and salads there last night and the temperature in the pub was incredibly cold. Everyone at the bar had on their outdoor coats and hats and the diners at most of the tables as well. We have never encountered this before and hope it was a one night problem. We love skiing at Oak Mountain and are so thankful you are in our community!”

“I am visiting from Arizona and came here with my mom and sisters for a quick coffee. We ended up getting food too because the menu was tempting. Mom just said "that was all delicious- like SO good" and I 100% agree. We had some iced lattes, a London fog, the almond danish (it has a creamy marzipan filling and OMG I want the recipe) and the Lumberjack breakfast sandwich 🤤 we will have to stop again on our way out of town 😊 great service and good cozy vibes. Thank you!”

“Honestly a great little place kinda in the middle of nowhere. The food was standard fare for a diner, but the Reuben sandwich was absolutely delicious.The staff was all friendly and fast... But this sandwich was killer. If you're in Speculator, stop in and grab a Reuben for sure.”
