Listen to all your wants and needs and they will let u taste your food before you leave to make sure its to your satisfaction. “Shah’s Halal is clean, welcoming and has an excellent array of very fresh food. We are all used to fast food but waiting 3-5 minutes for a perfect falafel is worth it. The staff will help you pick out just what you need to eat, even if you’re not sure what you want. Vegetarians have many choices here, all delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Excellent chicken and rice spot in Bethpage.
I've been to a large number of spots for chicken and rice, from the halal guys on 53rd and 6th, to the numerous spots along Steinway street in astoria, shahs, And other halal spots along the island and around hillside avenue and it's great to have an excellent local place close by to satisfy by desire for mix over rice.

Every spot has its own take on the chicken and halal eatz does a great job with whatever the seasoning is. White sauce is on point and hot sauce is HOT as expected. They have a number of other items I've never tried but am looking forward to tasting.

I saw they have byob (Bag of chips - not beer obviously) which is something that's become popular on social media, and I think it's a great idea for a solid price.

Overall great food that never disappoints that honeslty I'd say is the best bang for the buck in the area and a refreshing alternative to have around to eat. I'd post a picture but the ones that are already shared do it justice enough. If you opt for a platter, while I normally do pita, their fries are great.

“I came here for lunch. I ordered the mix over rice (lamb and chicken) that came up to less than $10. An addition of 6 will increase the price to over $10. The food was a good serving and pretty good. You can ask to put the sauce on the side or on the dish. The server was generous with the sauce. There is one seating area/table available indoors.
