“This is the spot. We are new to Dobbs ferry and I popped in today for a sandwich. Woman behind the counter was very kind in explaining what the most popular wedges are. Landed on an #11 which is chicken cutlet, American, bacon, bbq. Was top class. Not new to New York deli scene at all and they edged out another top spot a few towns over due to the crispy bacon. They know what they’re doing here don’t think you can wrong with anything on the menu. “I got an Italian combo to go around noon on a weekday. There was only 1 other customer so I was able to get my order quickly. The sandwich came out HUGE. It was stacked high with meats which is exactly what I was craving. It was delicious. The sandwich cost about $14 but it was definitely big enough for 2 people.“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“

“Local spot that makes really good Italian sandwiches. They get pretty busy during lunch, so if you are tight on time, i recommend calling in your order. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend something. I usually order The Sicilian (vegetarian) or the Al Pacino (chicken). These are not "light" sandwiches. I always think i can eat one, but end up saving half for a 2nd meal. Ask them to put the sandwiches in the panini press, much better that way.“

“I have been coming to Nonni's for a few years now ever since a dear one introduced me to it. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time! The best chicken cutlet hero I have ever had anywhere! I always get mine with roasted peppers and mozzarella. What's so phenomenal about it? Firstly, it's generously huge--like three whole cutlets huge--and enough to make two meals. No skimping on the peppers and mozzarella. The cutlets are moist. The price is unbeatable. Where most other delis would charge $14.00 or more for a sandwich this size, Nonni's only asks $8.25. (It's cash only, but there's an ATM if you need it.) I've had the #2 Italian combo as well, and it's also huge (and delicious). The oregano is the added bonus. The owner is a nice guy. The staff is super friendly the owner was super accommodating getting a us a place to sit down and eat. If you're in the area and you're not getting your food here daily you're insane. “Food is really good so far. Their burgers and fries is good but they put it in a roll. I'm Mexican so use to it but it's also really good! Fries were thin and tasty like McDonald's. “Love this place, I get my lunch here everyday since I work a few blocks away. They have the best creamy potato soups ever! They also make great sandwiches and hot lunch specials. They always seem to know their customers names, greeting everybody with a smile. You need neighborhood Deli's like this, it's such an integral part of the community. I live in Peekskill but will come here on my days off as well to get a sandwich from time to time.“

Theres an extensive deli menu, the Mr.Beast menu, a hot lunch buffet and a smoothie menu if you’re opting for something light. I got an egg breakfast sandwich that was good and a Joe's tea from the fridge. I forgot how good those teas were so that was a nice treat. Pasquale is a master at it and in my opinion it's better than the place on Arthur Ave. You can watch him making fresh mozzarella and bocconcini at any given time throughout the day. “The quote "don't judge a book by its cover" would have a photo of this store behind it. From the outside it looks like a broken down deli, no AC, and part of the cooler was out of order, and don't forget the cash only sign. Which had me like I ordered a simply turkey sandwich, Swiss cheese, onions (lots) and mayo. I was pleasantly surprised, now it's no sandwich to go out your way for or by any means the best turkey sandwich I have had, however you won't except something to taste so well from a place that looks like this. There was a sweet taste to the onions and mayo, which boosted the flavor of the turkey. The sandwich was stacked with turkey they definitely aren't cheap when it comes to packing a sandwich. If you only have 5 bucks in cash want something simple to eat as you walk towards the train or to eat on the train a sandwich from here isn't the worse option.“
