“Typical family run Chinese takeout. I am trying different Chinese takeout out places in this area and try to support local businesses when I can.

Aesthetically, there is a tiny front area to pick up and order food from. There was a single folding table that someone was eating at. The tiny strip parking lot was crowded with cars from other stores and the spaces were cramped.

The picture-overhead menu was typical, with generic pictures of the plates - seemed dated but this is typical.

The counter person took my order and was friendly.

I ordered a half dozen dishes totaling over $40 as take out for 2 people. Food arrived quickly with barely a 10 minute wait.

Shrimp Chow Fun: (not bad)
most take out restaurants have a ‘browner’ sauce and usually heavier oil. This was a little bland by comparison but not bad. Vegetables were crisp and fresh, the rice noodles were not bloated and a little soy sauce to season to taste - as you like it is all that is required. Shrimp
Content was adequate.

Boneless Ribs: (solid!)
A barometer for me, Some have a runny bbq sauce while others might make it too dry. I actually would rate this amongst the best as the sauce was not too heavy, and not runny. It was flavorful and the pork had a bit of a sear but not dry. I would recommend this over white rice.

Wonton Soup:(recommended)
The wontons were not mushy or bloated. The broth was savory and tasty. The scallions were a delicious touch. One of the better offerings in the area.

Chicken with garlic sauce:(not bad)
Vegetables were all crispy and fresh. The chicken was moist. The sauce was a little on the light side- could have had a little more bite for my taste but overall, a good dish.

Hunan pork: (not bad)
Similar overall review as with the Chicken with garlic sauce. Fresh and tasty, perhaps a little on the bland side but not bad overall.

“This place is far beyond the average Chinese food take out . This is high quality food and the best flavors !!!! You can't go wrong ! Love everything, mu shu beef, lemon chicken , fresh vegetable soup, rainbow shrimp and soooo much more ! Even the fried rice is amazing taste and quality a must for anyone in Rockland and North Rockland I'm lucky I live a mile away !“

“Best Chinese takeout in the area, and I've tried all them in Nanuet, New City and Pearl River. I highly recommend the Happy Family. They even include small lobster tail. This is the Shen Wang in New City, not the one down the street from CVS“

“This Chinese takeout was close to pier in West Nyack, parking lot was huge for a handful of shops, easily accommodate 50+ cars with shaded trees and full sun!! Liked the chicken lomein, requested easy sauce since Chinese food can be salty/ soysauce dark/ red spicy which didn't prefer. Lomein was sweet and tasty with shredded chicken, nappa cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms, very appetizingly fragrant. Restaurant accepts Zelle payment if no cash!! Would recommend and return again!“

“I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“

“This Chinese takeout was right by the pier in a shopping plaza, easy parking. The steamed white rice large size was quart portion and very good!! not grainy hard undercooked. And best of all, price was best deal you could find anywhere in NY!! Thank you and would visit without a doubt!!“

“Daniel is an amazing server at McKinney Pagoda. I was able to place my order and even sample a couple of items I wasn’t sure about and get my plate within a couple of minutes. The value is great, prices for plates and bowls are similar to the competitors like Panda Express, but the food ? is so much better using P.F. Chang’s recipes. Pagoda is a sub-chain of P.F. Chang’s Asian cuisine, and although the menu is scaled down to cater to students and professional on the go or on a budget, the taste and flavors you come to love about P.F. Chang’s is all there, just in a faster paced restaurant and shorter menu. I will absolutely be back since the nearest P.F. Chang’s is in The Colony Greatscape, and my lunches are only about 30mins- 1hr. this is the perfect blend of quality food at affordable prices with quick service as a bonus.

Parking: Plenty of free parking in font and back of the restaurant which is walking distance to the Cinemark North McKinney.

“I was craving cold sesame noodles and looked for Chinese takeout place on my way home so I wouldn’t have to go out of my way to my usual spot. Sadly the noodles were over cooked and barely cold and the sauce was runny with little flavor. I couldn’t eat it. However, the broccoli and garlic sauce was delicious and the woman who took my order was friendly and professional. The food was nicely packed and she asked me whether I wanted sauce. I appreciated that because i always forget to say no sauce and I never use the sauce I get. Still craving cold sesame noodles.“

“My experience here was great. I grew up in the area but had no Idea about this absolutely authentic restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and gives such a homey feeling. “Recently we stopped at China Wok on the way home to pick up something for dinner. It seemed to be new Owner or Management. It was a Takeout order, I found the food to taste very fresh, the Vegetables and rice were delicious. The chicken was tender as well. The service was fast and friendly. I'm guessing that the majority of their business is takeout, that's why I rate the atmosphere 4 star, there's always room for improvement, for a takeout place it was acceptable, at least it was clean. “Located in 3rd floor food court of Palisades Center, MW is one of the better options available for a reasonable price. Entrees are less than $10, and combos available for rice/noodles, 2 meat and vegetables. There are plenty seating spots in front of the store. All the dishes look really well made. Usually a short line and it moves quickly since they have several people working behind the counter. I got to try the noodles, teriyaki chicken and vegetables. I liked the taste of each of them.“

Went to pick up the phone and it was done within 15 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. I got a little bit of everything. Didn’t like so much of the beef I got with the broccoli. Tried a piece and tasted little weird. Everything else was delicious. I got egg/shrimp roll, vegetable fried and white rice, beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken was very good.
