“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“It's a basic diner. Breakfast food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The waitress was quite busy and never brought a condiment I requested and we had to flag her down for the check despite being finished eating for a good amount of time. They recently renovated and the interior has no diner charm, it's just fairly generic but clean looking.“

“My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.

“I just need to shout out Deli Zone b/c I've been coming here a few years and I always enjoy it. Everything is priced well, and the food is solid. Nothing fancy, just hearty and filling. I'm obsessed with their healthy breakfast wraps. My favorite is the Energy breakfast wrap. Just bomb. I stop in for breakfast and lunch often and usually order breakfast wraps and sandwiches. Service is always great...lovely ladies at the counter. Give them a shot!“

The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented! We even met the owners who could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive making sure we were having a great time and we were happy with everything! “We've had great experiences at Nu. It's a quiet spot, usually, and the food is really great. We always get filet mignon or their pork chop, which is fabulous. Their wine list is great, and the service is always top notch. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to service. I like to have great service but also be left alone, which is exactly what they do. The servers have always been attentive and professional. They know what to recommend and can advise you on the menu. I have to repeat. “New Year's Eve at The Lakehouse was one of the most special evenings we have had in a long time. The ambience and decorations are absolutely beautiful, there was beautiful instrumental music playing that was not too loud and we were able to have easy conversation. Our waiter was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff was smiling and could not have been nicer. We could not have been happier and it felt really special to be there and we will be back again soon.!!!“
