“We ordered takeout from here last night. We haven't ordered anything from them for probably two years prior. It was honestly the "under new management" sign that prompted us to try it again as we weren't thrilled with things prior to that. Well, the new management only needs to keep doing what they did last night and they should be a great success! The pizza and wings were excellent. Pizza was authentically NY style and the wings would have fit in well in Western NY (we are originally from South of Buffalo). Keep up the great work!!”

“I was on vacation from Texas unfortunately, because I would eat here ALL THE TIME! And I’m not a vegetarian or vegan. Loved the Microgreens smoothie so much I went back the next day and got one for me, and one for my sister-in-law, who took me there the day before, and tried the smoothie I had ordered. Would have taken my best fried first her Birthday on Tuesday, but they were closed Monday and Tuesday. 😢”

“Excellent afternoon of music making @ the Gatehouse in Morris, NY. Matt treated us to a Samba Sunday and transported us to the rhythms of Brazil with his superb guitar playing and singing the lyrics in there original Portuguese language. The audience member’s were swaying in their seats making for a beautiful afternoon vibe on a very beautiful day in this Otsego County town. Bravo’s to the Gatehouse owners for continuing to offer music on Sunday afternoons. 👍✌️😊”

“What a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious cup of homemade ice cream. We sat outside in the Adirondack chairs looking out on the lake while kids were playing down on the grass. “Simply Thai Restaurant is a staple in Oneonta, not just for great food, but because of its longevity. Dining places come and go, but Simply Thai has been around for more than a decade now. It's been consistent, popular, and a great way to try new foods. A view of the city on a nice sunny day, good service, and a unique menu to suit many tastes. They are celebrating their 13th year on August 12th this year, and deserve a visit if you haven't tried them yet.”

Had the Oneota Sunset for my drink and that was tasty as well. And all the people workin were kind and fun. If back in the area, will for sure stop back for dinner again. “Great Food and Atmosphere”

“Dante's is one of the many pizzerias in Oneonta that have good pizza. We've had mixed opinions on the food and quality in the past, but they have since been resolved and more consistently deliver quality food. A while back we had mentioned that we hoped to see them make something unique to them, something to stand out. Since then, Dante's has made the Chicago Double Thick Pan Cheese Pizza, which at the time we said: "Dante’s Pizzeria's Chicago double thick pan cheese pizza isn't just one of their best pizzas we've tried, it's one of THE best pizzas we've tried in Oneonta." And we still stand by that today. It's still the go to pizza, and worth trying if you haven't. The only issue we've had or heard of, is sometimes the bottom crust holds some burnt seasonings, which can add an acrid taste. Aside from that, their food is great and this pizza is excellent.”

“Great food, nice service, very clean -BUT- tonight we attended a birthday party in a side room. Catered for 30 supposedly, but only 25 people came and they ran out of food on the taco bar. Then they refused to add any additional food- refused! Then the host arrived and they refused to give him, his son and his parents any food unless they paid for it separately. The owners (a couple) gave conflicting prices. One said they could reserve tables, the other said no the host had to rent the whole room. Plesant atmosphere but most of us will not return. Poor business practice!”
