“We once again ate at Outback for Mother's Day. The food was delicious, we all ordered steak. As an appetizer, mozzarella sticks for the table, were excellent, warm and gooey. The waitress could not have been more efficient and attentive, as well as personable on such a busy day. I had called earlier in the week to see if they took reservations, and it was explained that if you leave your name and a time of arrival, sign in when you arrive, that you kind of move to the head of the line. Not exactly a reservation, but close to it. Upon arrival, we did not have long to wait. I had enough food to take half home for another meal. I am looking forward to eating there again. We chose to eat a dinner at 7:00pm, because one year we tried the afternoon and it was so packed we could not even get takeout. Also, they gave out a $10 gift card which I used yesterday.“

“We went to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays. Incredibly, it was our first time there. We will be back. Beautiful, old world atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.“

“I wanted a classy night out and this place hit all the right marks. I am sensitive to ambience and found that the music and lighting were perfect - enough to create an ambience but not put stress on my senses - I could still perfectly hear my companion and see the food well.

The menu was nicely varied with some familiar and some more unique options (try the duck confit spring rolls.) The prices are above basic but reasonable compared with other upscale options in the area. I felt that we got what we paid for in terms of service, atmosphere, and food.

The staff was courteous and helpful. They were just the right amount of present, providing everything we wanted including menu suggestions without seeming overbearing and in your face at all. We did not have to wait too long for anything.

We went at a high traffic time and it was a little crowded. We had just enough personal space but not a whole lot. Definitely not what you'd call privacy, but we and everyone I saw seemed comfortable.

Overall I highly recommend this place, you will not be sorry.

“Harley's American Grille Restaurant in Farmingdale is great place for Lunch, Brunch or Dinner. The place has been redone with a really nice decor. Menu is not extensive but offers a lot of great options. We had the Chicken Sandwich and the Wild Mushroom Ravioli.- both were delicious. They offer a Wine List. The service was awesome and Jesse our server was just amazing. Parking is hard in the Village but there are large metered parking lots behind all the stores.“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

“the last time we ate at Thom Thom our service was terrible. My main complaint then seemed to be lack of staff relative to the amount of customers. tonight we had the SAME waiter as last time, and the service was very good. There was definitely more help in the dining room and even though the crowd was larger today service was very good. Helpful and you could always get someone to refill water, or if you had a question. Food quality and presentation has always been very good, so, given the better service, I was pleasantly pleased.“
