“WOW … This bakery is AMAZING! 5 stars PLUS …They are breads are so delicious. I buy their sourdough bread, weekly, and the pumpernickel, honestly, the best I’ve had.Their cakes are always beautifully decorated. I highly recommend the vanilla pineapple … it’s one of my favorites. And if you don’t want a whole cake, they sell slices as well. Their cookies are always very fresh!!!! The pastries and the croissants melt in your mouth.The only bad part about all of this is that I live very close to the bakery so I can’t help myself and I’ve gained a few pounds.But ……ITS WORTH IT !!!“

“It has been four weeks since our wedding and my mom is STILL talking about the cake. She stole three extra slices from the venue and had cake for breakfast three days in a row. I think she’ll be talking about this cake for the rest of my life. She might drive me crazy but…she’s right. The cake Luckybird made for our wedding was the best cake I’ve ever had. That’s not an exaggeration. It really was next level. We ordered a fully frosted chocolate cake with seasonal berries and crème fraiche, and it was simply divine. Sweet but not too sweet, decadent but still light, and totally addicting. “This is going to by my weekly bubble tea spot. They were so friendly which is always a driving factor for a quality establishment for me. Price point was great. We only got teas today, but I can't wait to try some of their pastries. They looked beautiful and based on other people's reviews they're probably delicious. We got the brown sugar bubble milk tea and Passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba and just look at that adorable little heart shaped tea stopper. I will be a frequent flyer here“

They also have some real food snack options like French fries and chicken bites. “Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“

“I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! Oh my goodness they're so good! And did I mention they're gluten-free?!I cannot thank Brian and Sans Bakery enough for making my Unbirthday amazing and tickling my palette enough that I sent pictures to my cousin in Melbourne Australia taunting her a little. “I have always loved Layers and have been a long time, frequent patron. In fact, I love Layers so much that I wanted them to make a birthday cake for my baby’s first birthday celebration next week. I was given the phone number to the baker, yet my calls were never answered or returned, and I couldn’t leave a voice mail. I have called probably 5 times over the past week, and it’s disheartening that I probably will have to go elsewhere last minute for his cake as I wasn’t expecting it to be this difficult to reach the baker. All in all, great desserts but that experience has made me remove a star. ☹️“

I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! And if it's not peak hours, dining in is okay too. Peak hours, don't expect to get a seat. “I've been going to this Carvel since I was a kid. I get all my birthday ice cream cakes here. You are either a bakery cake birthday person or an ice cream cake person?. Great ice cream, shakes, cakes, there is some seating and it does get busy during the summer months as would any ice cream store in the peak season. Parking lot is small but don't usually have an issue. The staff is nice and attentive to getting customers handled quickly.“
