It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

“I went in to buy a cake and they were pretty nice, a lady there immediately asked me what I was looking for and I got my cake in like 5 mins the cashier was kinda shy but nice as well. Only thing is that last time I got like some candles and they just taped it on the box so by the time I was walking home i didn’t even notice it had fallen off which was very sad but other than that service was good ❤️

“Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!

“Man… this is one of the best businesses in existence. I’ve gotten various cakes from them over the years , and every single time they have been consistently delicious, rich, and exuberant. The tres leches is not too sweet, and the frosting complements the cake as well. It’s overall a very well rounded cake.

The service is spectacular as well — they can prepare an order for you in no time, and will decorate it and ensure that it is beautiful. All the while being as friendly as possible.

And the price, is more than fair.

“A sweet little pastry shop that I have been getting my birthday Napoleon cake from ever since I was a baby from what I’m told. They have excellent pastries, but really they’re glazed Napoleon cake is their signature masterpiece! I would try out the traditional cannolis as well if you do not like the chocolate dipped kind, as I find them too sweet for my taste. The regular kind with just a regular shell and pistachio nuts is my favorite. They also have excellent housemaid gelato in the summer that puts any gelato that they sell in the supermarket or cold stone or whatever, it puts it all to shame. By far, my favorite bakery in the tri-state area! Now my son just had his first Napoleon cake from Delite! 2 generations happy as can be! Thank you Delite!“

The ice cream is amazing though. And they piled that stuff on. I couldn't finish it and it took me half an hour to even get halfway through it.

It's far cheaper than Cold Stone Creamery and almost has the same aspects.
If you loved Mr. Softee's ice cream growing up, those ice cream trucks always going around the block, than this ice cream is for you.“

“For my daughter's sweet 16, she insisted on a specific cake in a specific color and size. NYC Birthday Cakes made her dream come true! The order process was extremely easy and I was able to provide a swatch so that they could match the color as best as possible. (color matching fondant is not easy - I've made cakes myself but didn't have the time now) We only had 40 people and 4 layers (6:, 8", 10" & 12") would have been too much cake. So, they made the top layer and bottom layer with a cake form instead of cake. The two middle layers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the vanilla with chocolate mousse. They were absolutely delicious!! The cake was delivered to the venue on time and as promised. These are truly professionals and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a special cake!
