Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. “I recently visited 787 Coffee Shop and had an amazing experience! I ordered a chai tea with oat milk, and it was absolutely perfect—smooth, flavorful, and with just the right balance of spices. Their best dishes are the braised pork, hands down. Very tender and fatty. For beef noodle, their beef is tender and the soup is flavorful, but the noodle texture can be better, it was too soggy.

The 3 cup chicken and eggplant are too sweet, in my opinion. The potsticker filling were also just alright, but i like how they pan fried it.“

“We hosted our wedding at FTP two weeks and had a more wonderful time we could’ve ever imagined. The day truly exceeded our expectations. From the get go the event manager Rachel was a dream to work with. She is creative, organized, encouraging and realistic. Exactly the kind of person you want to be working with when planning a large and complicated event. We had an Indian American fusion wedding and she allowed us incorporate all the elements that were most important to us. Even as we threw twists and turns at her she took it in stride (for example we wanted to serve chai which isn’t typically on their menu, but instead of just telling us no like so many other venues/caterers would’ve, we found a creative solution that worked for all of us and were able to serve it). We created a custom menu with them that was all vegetarian and my goodness, it was genuinely incredible. On top of the custom menu, they worked with us to provide two different sets of custom dishes served out to a handful of guests with very specific dietary restrictions (one was gf/celiac safe, the other was for a traditional Jain diet). We have been getting endless compliments on how good all of the food was. It made life so much easier being able to work with a venue that could provide the space, the food, the bar package, the staff, the flowers, and even the tables and chairs (though you are also welcome to bring in your own if you prefer). They encourage you to decorate the space however you want but the venue is so inviting and beautiful that it hardly needs additional decor. Not only was Rachel a dream to work with but all the staff that worked our wedding were fantastic. We’ve heard from many guests that the warm and inviting nature of all the staff, and especially the bartenders, went a long way in helping create a wonderful atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend this venue more highly!!“

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

If you're not in the neighborhood, it's easy to get there on the subway (it's right between the 40th St. and 46th St. stations on the 7 subway line on Queens Blvd).“

“A smaller space, but nicely decorated. Was able to walk in at 7pm on a Tuesday night for two with no problem. Food and service were both great. The mezze portions are great; really loved the labneh. The carrots are slightly sweetened and is served cold. Falafel hummus was plentiful and the falafel was great. Chicken shawarma was delicious; recommend getting a side of pita so you can make yourself a pita sandwich.“

The chicken empanada was soft and warm, with the perfect texture not dry like other places. It was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn’t get enough! “While in the area trying to kill time, we decided to grab brunch with an outdoor dining since we had our pup with us. Even though their outdoor patio wasn’t setup, there was a single table outside on the corner, which they ended up allowing us to sit at.

Once we sat down, the waitress was quick to bring us utensils and menus. Not only did she bring us water, she also brought ice and water for my dog —this was so generous for her to be so accommodating. For food, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($17) while the boyfriend had the Cheeseburger ($16) with Bacon (+$3). Our food came out quickly and they both also came with potato sides. The fries were super crispy and tasty, but the home fries were just ok.

Overall, the food is mediocre here —nothing to run home about. But what stood out to me here is the service with our waiter specifically. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time.“

“We came here on a Sunday noon. It is the best bbq that we had. The eel is really fresh and chewy. We also had large intestines, pork neck, and kalbi. The kalbi is also really delicious! They gave a large bowl of kimchi, lots of delicious banchan. Their japchae is awesome, and the bibim noodles are on point. The servers are the most awesome people in korean restaurant!
