“By far the freshest tasting Mediterranean food I've had in Western New York. The restaurant is intimate which enabled a very personal feeling while dining there. The prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is overwhelming. They have takeout but I highly recommend dining in.“

“Good evening! I could not go to bed tonight without acknowledging the fabulous service my two friends and I received at the Acropolis on Main Street. Our server Anthony C was outstanding! All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. You are blessed and lucky to have some like him on your team. We do a monthly dinner on Main Street and are already planning on coming back to Acropolis for our September dinner (if we can find out when Anthony C is working!) “Growing up in south Buffalo Texas hots was a staple for the neighborhood and since it’s random closing Jimmys is the only place that has a special sauce not only close to them but better. The employees and atmosphere of the business is genuine, welcoming and overall a very good experience. Truly happy to have found Jimmys and can’t wait to go back!“

“I've only had a handful of poor experiences here since the day they opened the (original) restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. Disappointing overall experience.“

“Really nice place. I’m from Texas, and they had a Texas omelette. So of course I had to check it out.
It was an egg omelette filled with grilled onion, hotdog bits, I think cheese and some kind of chili sauce on top. I can tell you I’ve never seen anything like it in Texas but it was delicious. The sauce reminded me of a Greek style sauce. Kinda like Skyline Chili from the Cincinnati area.
They also had mimosas. I don’t usually see that at diners. I really enjoyed it. The staff were really great too.

This place by far is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We live about 30 minutes away and drive here almost once a week now. The staff is incredible, too. “Just got home from an excellent breakfast. I had the Meatlovers Omelet with Home Fries and a Pancake for $13. It was delicious and big. My wife got the Strawberries and Banana Crepes for $15. Everything was perfect. The server was friendly and quick. It was a bit loud due to the group of 5 hens cackling in the corner, but they were having a good time.

“The fish dinner was awful.Very very nasty.The fish was fried hard on the outside and it was mushy on the inside.The fries were nasty too as if they were fried in grease that wasn't hot then taken out until the grease got hot,then put back in.In the past the fish was delicious.So I bragged to my house guest about the fish,only to be disappointed.So my guess is they hired a new cook.The Cole slaw was good though.I took one bite of the fish and fries and threw the dinner out.So did my house guess.It was a waste of my money.I will never order a fish dinner from here again.“

It was a well balanced as close to a home cooked meal as you can get. I'd get this over Chipotle or Moe's any day of the week. I'll be back for sure.“
