“Enjoyed our visit to this old time neighborhood pub on Wing Wednesday. We had a short wait at the bar for a table of 5 and added a chair for an unexpected 6th. So many options for wings! All the sauces were flavorable. Our server made us feel right at home even though we had never been there before. You could tell this place has alot of regulars. Bartender We was friendly. “Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“Dwyer's wings are always great. We got the mild Cajun and loganberry BBQ. Yummy! We also ordered onion rings, which I was fairly disappointed at, considering I paid $10 for maybe 7 rings. I'm not sure that it was, but It may have been a full slice of an onion... FOR $10! Supercharger was playing and the music was great! The only downside to the atmosphere was one fairly inebriated woman kept smoking at the table next to us, even after the waitress directed her where to smoke. She was finally given a warning and then found her way over to the smoking area.“

“This is bar food at its best! Easy parking. Fast service with excellent recommendations. My husband ordered the western cheeseburger. Even the bun was lightly toasted. I had the quesadilla with fries. There were LOTS of crinkled fries. My dad ordered 1/2 hot and Cajun hot which was a good balance. Learned about double dipped wings. He enjoyed them! My stepson honey mustard Cajun and hot wings. He couldn't pick a favorite. They had a nice crunch to them.“

“The food here is tremendous (wings are on par with Bar-Bill and they have a great fish fry), but one word of caution - do not expect to be able to order meat on Friday’s during Lent. Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.“

This was better than a lot of restaurants I have eaten at. the shrimp cocktail was the best also!!!! Very cool place. they could up their wine list but that's not a big thing here in Buffalo...... “Stopped here for lunch and had a great meal. The Salty Buffalo plate is a beef on weck (Costanza’s roll-always delish) and 5 wings. Highly recommend this as a lunch or dinner option. Also had the drink special - Moscow Mule which was yummy 😋
My friend had the pulled pork with blackberry BBQ sauce and raved at the taste.
Everything was delicious although the medium wings could have been spicier - would order them hot next time.
The bar and dining area are just what you expect from a sports bar - lots of bar stools and tables that face the TV if you want to watch a game.
Would definitely stop in again - gotta try that BBQ pork sandwich“
