“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“I stop into Southdown Coffee at least four times a week, and it’s honestly the highlight of my day! Their cappuccinos, cortados, matcha lattes, and espresso tonics are all amazing—I can’t pick a favorite. Sometimes I even double up and swing by on my lunch break for an extra caffeine boost and grab one of their delicious avocado pesto or chickpea salad sandwiches. And don’t even get me started on their baked goods—they’re absolutely to die for! This place is a must-visit for coffee lovers and foodies alike.“

“My daughter won a contest on Instagram for 2 free meals, drinks and cookies. She invited her sister, so it was 3 of us. We drove from Babylon to Manhasset to try this cute little cafe. When we got there I let the cashier, maybe manager know who we were. She was so gracious, explained the menu items and recommended the coffees we should try. We placed our order and waited. The food that came out was so pretty, smelled amazing and was delicious too.“
