“Went there for a coffee and a little treat with a friend. The two ladies behind the counter were very nice and helpful when asked about recommendations. I got a mini chocolate croissant and an iced dirty horchata with oat milk. It was nice to sit there and read a book while enjoying my delicious drink. They also have a little area in the corner for kids and Ilove how family friendly the place is. I saw a lot of individuals and families come through the doors and all left smiling. I will definitely come again when I’m in the area.“

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“Def one of the best food/dessert spots on Long Island to chill at. Food is amazing especially the argentinian chicken empanada and the green strawberry mango refresher. Great hospitality from Dawood and his crew. Def pull up and check it out.“

My husband loves coffee and we decided to go in store to get more details on the different type and flavors, Nat took the time to explain it all! I myself am pregnant and am staying away from caffeine and Nat so kindly offered decaf samples with our purchase which is awesome because I love coffee too!
