“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“I don’t drink beer for the most part but I love Belgian beer. Usually I have to wait till I get to Belgium to enjoy the beer, but not anymore. The Belgian beer they have an offer is amazing! I never drink beer in the US, but couldn’t figure out which of the many choices I choose for lunch today. I had the trapped after tasting several that were one after the other, even better than the last. It was a hard choice that I tend to return to go through every other one of the beers on tap. I’m not an IPA person, but there were so many other choices! Food was spectacular and will definitely be back. Thanks so much for this great venue. “My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

“The food is great. The only complaint I have is that they open the doors at 10 AM, but when you arrive at that time, nothing is ready. You either have to pre-order and come back or wait until after 11 AM for food to be available. I don’t understand why they open before they’re actually ready to serve customers. Prep time should start earlier so customers can order when the business officially opens.

I only have a lunch break before 12 PM and my job is 35 minutes away, so timing matters. I went to Marino’s because I hadn’t had their pizza in decades and really wanted to try it again. Other than that, everything was okay.“

Joe created a KILLER wing sauce with all the charm of a classic Buffalo but with some texmex flair and the wings were crispy yet juicy, completely amazing like the rest of the food we got! Thank you Mexican Connection!“

“We did a delivery order through Mealeo and had the worst experience with that service. We placed our order and it was accepted at 8:17pm. We waited for over an hour and saw our delivery time was updated for 9:35-9:45. At 9:34pm we get an email stating that Mealeo cancelled the order, so now we are left with no food and now no option to go anywhere else since everywhere is closed.

Luckily, the owners of Lucky Peking were kind enough to call me and ask if we canceled the order. When I explained that we had not and that Mealeo had. They were also very upset that happened (through no fault of their own) and then offered to deliver it themselves even though at this point they were now closed and had also been waiting around for the Mealeo driver to arrive.

So they took my payment over the phone and the chef drove our order over, across town and after hours. I don’t know how many other restaurants would do that. Thank you very, very much!“

“I have only dined at Rocco’s but one time, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to seat the three of us which was very accommodating. It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.“
