“My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us. We would highly recommend Prominence!”

“Celiac accommodating and aware! used a separate pan for my daughters eggs and toasted her toast on the grill to avoid cross contamination in the toaster and griddle! Priceless knowing my daughters meal was safe. absolutely delicious..she cleared her plate! gluten free rice Krispy treats too!”

“This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.”

“This is my favorite pizza in the United States! The crust is exactly right: not flat and also not deep, and with just the right texture - a tiny bit crisp and also dough-licious, the sauce is distributed the way I love it. The onion, mushroom and green pepper are fresh and not overly-portioned which would make it soggy, but just the perfect amount. I just enjoyed four slices and had to say thank you!”

“We had a very good overall experience. The food was solid, and the steak I ordered was absolutely outstanding—definitely the highlight of the meal. Others in our group didn’t enjoy their dishes quite as much, so I would especially recommend going for the steak selection and asking the servers for guidance—they are extremely knowledgeable and very kind.

They also offer a great selection of beers and well-made cocktails. I always appreciate being asked about my liquor preference for cocktails, and they handled that detail perfectly. Prices are very fair.”

“This is legitimately some of the best chinese food you'll get anywhere. Qin Fang Garden is an absolutely elite dining establishment. They're in there 5 days a week grinding, cooking up delicious meals for all of us. Soups, noodles, dumplings, szechuan, hunan, general tsaos. Chicken with garlic sauce SLAPS. I have friends who have come to Windham and YEARS later still talk about how good that Windham chinese food was. Bring your family, bring your friends. Oh and did I mention the people are fantastic? Qin Fang Garden is the lifeblood of Windham.”

“Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. Makes me feel like Im visiting family not a diner”

“Great service and vibes with a rotation of friendly and personable bartenders. However, the vibes were so good that after 3 moderately priced draft beers and a few impulsive thoughts, I used their speedy WiFi to book myself a trip to go and hike to Mount Everest’s Basecamp on an 18 day long route.

Now, the bar staff, rather than interject after seeing me typing away with a huge grin as I nursed my third beer, gave me a cheers and a high five.

Had there been some crazy patrons, a barfight, or even just some local drama or general riff-raff, I may have gotten distracted. Unfortunately, none of those things happened on a chill Friday night.

As more tunes came from the juke box and the glow of multiple flat screens kept my bar seat a place of good vibes and confidence - I proceeded to then book myself a trip to South America. And, with the smiles of the friendly staff nearby, I defiantly opted out of trip insurance.

A night that started with the intention of enjoying 3 cold drafts and some good company ended with me spending a few thousand dollars on trips across 2 different continents.

“Let me just say Thank you to Allen(Allan,Al..however you spell it). Not only was he running back and forth making subbs and getting ice cream orders but he didn't screw up once and was exceptionally still polite. I would be going out of my mind going back and forth to both places with lines for both. We were definitely waited on with efficient time. The shake and ice cream were both delicious!! He even offered to remake after he thought someone was dissatisfied. Excellent customer service... excellent ice cream and excellent well being of the building. P s he also made our subbs perfect as well!!”

“We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.

“Visited subway after looking for a quick bite. The young man was very nice. He was working the sandwich counter and the carvel's. Had to walk pass some antiques for sale, before we got to the counter. It was clean. The tuna looked suspect. Overall good service. It's subway.”

“We went to hike Kaaterskill and stopped here twice. Not only was the service fast and the food yummy, but they were so hospitable. The first night they helped us get oriented to the village and gave us a run down of what was open/closed/available. The second day, after a couple issues (had some hiking gear stolen), they fed us on the house. It made our day a little bit better and that’s what life is all about. Highly recommend to anyone passing through. These are some good people all around.”

“Our favorite local restaurant for 20 years. The food is amazing. Always fresh made with options from homemade soup, sandwiches, to amazing baked goods and waffles and yogurt (with fresh fruit, coconut and drizzled honey) available all day. Also, their assortment of drinks is wonderful with our favorite being the iced or Hot Dandy, iced or Hot Joe and the Hibiscus Cooler. Atmosphere is so inviting. Natural wood, stained glass, lots of plants. You feel like you are in an indoor tree fort. In the nice weather you can sit outside on the covered balcony to dine or sit outside at tables along the beautiful creek. In addition the entire restaurant plus bathrooms are exceptionally clean. They also have a small section of their own soaps, lotions, maple syrup Etc.”

“We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Restaurant Matilda. We started with drinks at the bar, where the bartenders were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, setting the tone for a fantastic night. From there, we moved to a cozy corner booth for what turned into a true feast.

The room strikes that perfect balance between lively and energetic, yet still intimate and comfortable enough for a long, lingering dinner. After some incredible cocktails, we ordered an array of starters, with the chilled oysters and confit tuna belly crackers as standouts. Every bite was beautifully prepared. We also loved the mushrooms & lentils and the golden chicken, both deeply flavorful and satisfying.

The service throughout the night was warm, attentive and seamless. Can’t recommend it enough!”
