Unlike corner stores this place has many options, their menu is very unique, and the store is very clean. Not only do they have hot fresh food they also have chips,candy, and groceries. “I visited on October 19. After purchasing coffee at Dunkin Donuts I needed a restroom which the hole in the wall Dunkin Donuts doesn't have. Thankfully, Bagels Plus right across the street does have a customer restroom. I ordered a toasted onion bagel with butter and a fresh fruit salad. Bagel was fresh and super oniony and the fruit salad was juicy and sweet. I just had a taste and froze it to eat later (see pics). When I emptied the container I was pleasantly surprised by how much fruit was packed into the container. Definitely worth $5 !!! Oh and the restroom was clean !!! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely revisit and try their coffee as well.“

“It was my first time there but certainly will not be my last. The cashiers knew we weren't from there but super super nice. I had THE BEST quiche I have EVER had. I joked that they sprinkled crack or something on it because I wanted to buy the WHOLE pie . It was beyond fluffy and delicious. It was mushroom, caramelized onion and cheese. I also has a side of bacon and home fries plus a hazelnut latte. It was less than $30 and beyond filling. I took 1/2 home because it was so much food. I didn't think to take a pic before I started eating, so no, that's not the whole quiche lol. “I finally checked out PopUp Bagels, and the hype is totally justified. You absolutely have to get here early—like, when they’re still pulling those hot, fresh bagels out of the oven and tossing them into the bin! Nothing beats that feeling (or smell!) to kick off a New York morning.

“Seriously the BEST bagels EVER!! We're from California and I grew up eating bagels and deli... there are no bagels that even compare to Utopia bagels.
Service was excellent, took a little while as it was SO busy but it was absolutely worth the wait!! Obviously amazing when locals are lined up out the door to get bagels.
We were waiting for our order and the nicest man with a New York accent asked our boys if they've ever had a fresh bagel out of the oven, we of course said No, and he gave them a fresh, hot bagel that was to die for!!

As someone born and raised in New York, I’m always on the hunt for a solid bagel spot and Curley’s Bagels caught my attention. It’s a grab and go place, but the inside is surprisingly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Definitely more elevated than your average bagel shop.

When I walked in, I was impressed by the variety. They had tons of specialty bagels, options with avocado and eggs, and even gluten-free bagels, which is a great choice for anyone with dietary needs. I was tempted to try something creative, but I decided to stick with a classic: a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese “my personal favorite”. Lol

The woman at the counter was super kind and helpful, and the overall vibe from the staff was warm and welcoming. Even though it was busy, my bagel was made quickly. I also grabbed a coffee, which had a nice bold, dark roast flavor. They offered oat milk, almond milk, and half and half something for everyone.

Biting into the bagel, it was everything I wanted: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with generously spread scallion cream cheese full of flavor and fresh herbs. Honestly, it felt more like a luxury bagel experience than your typical deli stop.

I spent about $9 for a bagel and coffee, which is a bit on the higher side, but the quality made it worth it. Plus, it was within walking distance from my doctor’s office, so it felt like a great find in the neighborhood.

Luckily, the shop in the East Village isn't as crowded as the location north of Washington Square Park. We didn't even have to wait 10 minutes on a Friday at 3 p.m., which is practically a world record in NYC. The team is quick and appropriately friendly.

Since there's hardly any seating, it's best to take your bagels to go and eat them in the chilled Tomkins Square Park.

The food was amazing and I can’t say enough about the friendly staff, they were all attentive and a big shout out to the barista in the front…she greeted everyone with a smile and was so pleasant going above and beyond to make everyone that walked in the door feel like so welcomed.“

Bagel House made me the most delicious and perfect bagel lox with all the right fixins. It's called the Lox Spectacular and that's exactly what it is. The service was wonderful as well. It's true, people remember how you made them feel. Bagel House made me feel like coming back. The atmosphere is nice for a quiet time to yourself or hanging out with some friends. “One of the best bagel spots in Manhattan. Leon’s Bagel nails the classic New York bagel experience — fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of chewy. Their Classic Lox Sandwich is a must-try.

There’s no indoor seating, but they do have a few limited outdoor spots. If the weather’s nice, I recommend grabbing your bagel and coffee to go and heading over to Washington Square Park — it’s just a short walk away.

They also sell some great merch, though I do wish their house blend coffee beans were available for purchase — the coffee is that good.

Definitely worth a visit, even if it means taking a small detour. A real gem in the heart of Manhattan.“
