“A great beer hall with a selection of classic food. We love coming here, it’s one of the best places to drink in Astoria. It gets a little hot and crowded in summer, but it’s a delightful visit. When the tap lines are freshly cleaned, they can also put some exceptional beers out - they are one of the few spots with Czechvar in the city. If you have a sporting event you wanna watch or you just wanna hang out with friends, it’s a good shout!“

“The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We only went for desert and coffee. The chocolate cake was amazing. A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. The food, a bunch of sorted sausages, potato salad and a pretzel, were all delicious! That is, except for the chicken sausage, which didn’t really taste like much (lack of salt and of seasoning), though that’s nothing a bit of mustard can’t fix

“I love everything about Diamond Dogs and everyone there except for Pat!!! 😭😭😭 i dont know why they put Pat on for weekends now, when Pat gives rude and snarky service, preferential treatment to their friends, and generally has an unpleasant attitude and is always ready to try to make you feel like you’re stupid and annoying for wanting to come to the bar. Pat likes to act like patrons are all immediately stupid and drunk nuisances. Every other bartender has is great/normal and treats patrons with respect and kindness. I tried to avoid DD if I could spot Pat working there, but it’s difficult since they’ve been on weekends there now.“

Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family.
