“When you open the door, it feels as though you stepped through narnia and back into the 60s. The vintage setting brings the whole picture together. Im not a big fan of american food but this place left me with full satisfaction. We took cowboy burgers. Juicy meat with crispy onion rings. You definitely have to taste it. Whiskey souse on a top of the bread pudding was perfect. Recommend for lunch and dinner.“

“We'd driven by quite a few times and decided it was time to give Ray's Place a try. I'm very happy we did. First of all, the owner greets you so warmly upon entering. We were new to this restaurant, yet he treated us like old friends. We both decided to try the cheesesteak sandwiches and we split an order of fries and onion rings. You can easily see how much care he puts in to his menu items. The cheesesteaks are wonderful- the bread is so fresh and delicious! Onion rings are perfectly crispy! Regular sized fries are more than enough for 2 to share. I'm definitely looking forward to trying breakfast items and the soups. You definitely have 2 new loyal customers!!“

“Very neat place with awesome atmosphere. Solid craft beer list (unfortunately missed my tastes but still a good list). Bartender was super friendly and fun.We unfortunately only got wings here and they were not good. They were dry, small, and the dry rub only hit one side. So that side was overpoweringly flavored and the other was just dry chicken.Their menu looks awesome and some of the other food we saw coming out looked really good. But the wings were decidedly not good.Hope to come back another day and try some other food and switch to 5 stars.“

The fries are also some of the best, tasted double fried and soft inside and were just perfect! The outside space and inside space are both awesome! “This place is amazing. We went for breakfast. The place is decorated so tastefully some well thought out details. The feel of my coffee mug, might seem trivial but it was nice pottery. Not the average mass produced diner plates. The food was well seasoned and very reasonably priced. The Staff was so attentive. We will definitely go back again!“

“Waitress was excellent. Her suggestions were spot on. The brisket fries are enough for 2, and you need to get the single Patti burger if your getting more food. You might finish it, no promises. Those fries are serious and good. Beer selection was pretty good, and everything is very clean. Very comfortable setting. Tvs in the bar area and a back room that's a bit quieter. “I ordered a chef salad and was called back within a minute saying that they were out of roast beef and they could substitute for antipasta. I asked if they could just add more of the meat that they had, they obliged, and what I picked up was outstanding.. I know people are quick to list faults when things aren't to their liking, but I couldn't be happier with the service, food, and punctuality of this place; we've have been coming here for almost 20 years and I hope to be returning for 20 more. “Mia was an absolute doll! Incredible service and it was a stellar experience! Appetizers came out in 7 minutes and 30 seconds from the time we placed our order. Our meals came out 6 minutes and 6 seconds later. I had the shrimp basket which was exactly as described and the breading was perfectly seasoned. Paired with the golden fries it was a decent meal and filling. My wife had the crab roll which had a surprise hint of horseraddish or mustard in it. The sweet potato waffle fries are delicious. We started with the lobster bisque for appetizer and boy do they have a really good one. It tasted like it was freshly made. ?“

“Husband and I finally went to try this place out. I have to say we were very happy with the food and service. I got the french onion soup and it was so good. I finally found a place that I love it from. Hubby got a cheeseburger and was cooked exactly how he asked. Looking forward to trying other food and some of there drinks.“

“This was our first time to DeStefano's and we were quite impressed. The food was excellent, The bread with the garlic oil was awesome, so long as you're a garlic fan. We tried the battered Calamari and Romano Cheese, something different, loved it. We had ordered two of the specials which came with more sides than ever expected-stuffed clams, soup, salad. Time for the main course (already getting full) I had the Cajun seafood dish and my wife had the Chicken Apulia, also with two huge sides,(mashed and sweet potato fries) needless to say we're having our leftovers again tonight at home. I had my usual Blue Moon and my wife had a mixed drink. The prices of the drinks were in my opinion cheaper than anywhere else, $5.50 for draft and $6.50 for the mixed drink. I think the dinners are priced cheaper than some other restaurants and the portions are way more. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out, very nicely decorated, our waitress was very nice and prompt and the place was packed, which says something, at least to me. “An unusual "dive bar" in a very unusual town?. It's unusual because it's primarily a black dive bar with a white owner?. She's a sweetheart and I love the place. This town Middletown NY is a unique place I love it! Drinks are good..music is good“

“So we were in town the other night after a game, a friend recommended this place I am glad we decided to stop and have dinner here. I love the atmosphere how they redid the old building. You must go in the bathroom and see the sinks the place just has a cool vibe to it, the service was excellent. The beer was amazing and of course the food was good. We will stop back when in the area again. I am a sucker for cheese curds and the appetizer did not disappoint. My wife ordered the mozzarella sticks and they are huge for dinner. I had the mac & cheese with the short rib. It was delicious couple we went out to dinner with decided to have burgers and reported they were very good And my wife of course had part of the lawn. Oh I mean a salad she reported it was delicious. They have plenty of free parking.“

“Food is what you get at a chain. Reliable but definitely not homemade or fresh. Order came out wrong but they fixed it before I even had time to tell them. Everything came out super quick and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The manager could smile or be a bit more cheerful. The entire time he just seemed like he hated every second of his job.
