What’s your address ? I will drive it out to you. Within a 1/2 hour this awesome guy Justin pulled into my driveway with all our food. Hot food and cold salad !! Thank you. Way to go!!“

I ordered the veal cordon bleu and my adult son had the lasagna. I’ve been to Italy and this meal was just as good, if not better, than some of the food I ate in Rome, Gaeta or Naples. “First time visit to La Perla in Averill Park, NY Thursday 8/17/23 6:30pm reservation. We came because of the music by The Next Chapter, Alan Saunders & Mike Derrico formerly of the Good for the Soul band that played at our wedding in 2006. They were set up in an nice courtyard at the rear of the restaurant, but an hour later had to move inside due to the rain. Very prompt service by the staff. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. We settled on two appetizers: eggplant rollatini ($20) and the clams casino ($22). Note: clams are offered in 6 different styles. Italian style entrees from $18-33, more for specialty fish entrees i.e. zuppa de pesce $51. This is a fine dining restaurant offering well prepared and a variety of dinners. Bill was $100. for two meals & four alcoholic beverages. We ended our evening at the unique bar & dining area where we could still see & hear the band. This place also offers overnight accommodations & is an event venue. A very good first visit here. Restaurant Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4PM - 9PM Friday & Saturday 4PM - 10PM Sunday 3pm-9pm Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended. “We went to Milanos for the first time today, and we’re never going back. To say that the service was terrible would be an understatement. Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. We should have eaten at the burger place a few doors down.“

The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. I love the city, love a good number of slices I can get there, believe me, and I'm the pickiest eater you'll ever meet. But this place is a whole other world. Been heading here for about a decade, usually delivery, always on time and hot and ready. I'll die on the hill that the cheese pizza here is the best in the state, especially with crushed red pepper. The buffalo chicken pizza is EXTREMELY good, but best hot. The wings are hit or miss, yeah, but they're not Roman Wings!! Great service, great humor, fun place, you gotta check it out, dude.“
