“One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

“My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. This place is a hidden gem & I will be back!“

“Above all this new owner created a new atmosphere that seems very charming and comfortable. For my time here I received chocolate chip pancakes(a stack of four) w/ 2 hash browns and they were very tasty and filling. The chocolate pancakes weren’t too sweet but very carb heavy. I got a crazy potato with a cheese stick. It wasn’t dry nor too moist, the softest part was definitely the inside with the cheese. I also got a sunshine slush and a mango slush. The sunshine was a mango and strawberry mix with the same flavored bubbles and some small jelly cubes that were a happy surprise. The mango slush is much more recommended since it wasn’t too sweet and would relate more towards a frozen agua Fresca so very refreshing and light.

“Was here last summer,after hiking the Old Croton Aqueduct/Untermeyer Park Conservatory(the summer of record heat), and it was super cool inside, servers, bar patrons were friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and definitely the best porterhouse steak, I ever had!“

As it has been many years since dining at Yard House we were pleased with the atmosphere Cordell and the meals. Our lunch was delicious our time at Yard House outstanding you could not have asked for a better time. Our experience was the Yard House at Ridge hill and we are planning on visiting in the near future. Hopefully you will visit soon. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. For locals of course, walking is the best option.All in all, a nice local business and again, great option in the area. I will be back of course.“

You can walk in and order but at times they run out of chicken so you have to wait. You are better off calling in your order prior to going there to make sure they have chicken ready.
The chicken and rib combo with yellow rice and pinto beans is my go-to.
They make their own salsa Verde which is great.
It's a little pricey since they reopened after the fire but it's still worth it.“
