“My mother and I frequent this location, the most. Whenever we go, we are excited when we get Emily as our waitress. She is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Every time we have had her she is always checking in with us and making sure we have everything that we need. There have been a few times where the kitchen has messed up, and she handled it very quickly and efficiently. She’s honestly one of the best servers I’ve had at any establishment. She is amazing at her job and she truly cares about her customers at her tables, making sure they have a good dining experience.“

“One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

“Above all this new owner created a new atmosphere that seems very charming and comfortable. For my time here I received chocolate chip pancakes(a stack of four) w/ 2 hash browns and they were very tasty and filling. The chocolate pancakes weren’t too sweet but very carb heavy. I got a crazy potato with a cheese stick. It wasn’t dry nor too moist, the softest part was definitely the inside with the cheese. I also got a sunshine slush and a mango slush. The sunshine was a mango and strawberry mix with the same flavored bubbles and some small jelly cubes that were a happy surprise. The mango slush is much more recommended since it wasn’t too sweet and would relate more towards a frozen agua Fresca so very refreshing and light.

“My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. This place is a hidden gem & I will be back!“

On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. “It’s true. It’s a grimy place. As you enter, you greeted with lit red carpet stairs. As You descend and enter the space it appears like a maze of sofas and billiard tables. It’s $20 per person to play. There is loud music playing from the jukebox. There are typical junk foods and drinks to order from. I also noticed other things to order such as billiard sticks, etc. The bathroom was clean. There were sofas all around, available to sit on the like they Had been collected from being placed At the edge of the sidewalks. They made you think twice before sitting on them there were also some tall stools available. The service was friendly. The patrons seemed cool and focused on enjoying their experience. We had A good time and would probably return.“

We ordered the bacon grilled cheese, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Parmigiana sandwich, eggplant Parmigiana sandwich, and a burger — all came with fries. They also brought out a plate of coleslaw and pickles for the table, which was a nice touch.
