“Love this place. I’ve been 4 times and holds the crown of best Lebanese food in the city. On top of the amazing food, it’s cozy in the winter and the backyard patio in the summer is unbeatable. You can tell the owner Samaya works hard to make the place filled with amazing food and love, everyone is so sweet and welcoming.“

“The best authentic Lebanese food in NYC. A must-try. All there food is fresh and delicious and very generous quantities. Their Shawarma is soooo good, you can eat it in bowl or a sandwich with lots of yummy toppings. I also tried their falafel and it was super good!“

“We are frequent customers, but today was truly something else. Normally our visits are not this special, but Amelia completely changed our experience. This Midtown location is my favorite, and even though we live in New Jersey, we still make this trip to Auzatar every 3 months because it’s always worth the trip.
But today stood out in the best way. Amelia went above and beyond with her service — she was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. She made us feel valued and comfortable from start to finish.
We love Amelia so much that we will be coming back with friends and family — but only on the days Amelia is here! She is truly exceptional and made our visit unforgettable.“

“Unique blend of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine; the dips were all great and the watermelon salad was very refreshing. Chicken Shawarma Burrito was filling and had all the spices you want but could have used a bit of salsa to add moisture“

“Fast-casual Mediterranean done right. The food was unreal, the service was great, and everything came out quick. Pro tip: come with friends so you can order multiple dishes; you’ll want to try everything.
Fan favorite: the Crunchwrap Supreme 🌯
Stuffed with lamb shawarma, potatoes, toum, crunchy pita chips, and more. This was full-on flavor. Every element worked perfectly together, from the pickles to the meat. Truly addictive.
Other mains:
• Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich – juicy, spicy, insanely flavorful, and easily one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city.
• Lamb Shawarma Wrap – all the essentials of a perfect wrap. The toum absolutely steals the show, the lamb is perfectly seasoned, and the wrap comes out crispy for the perfect crunch.
Last but not least: the Kunafa Pancake 🥞
Not technically dessert… but it should be. The pancake is fluffy and delicious on its own, and the kunafa elements take it through the roof. Best served plain in my opinion, but you can also get it with sweet berries or even spicy fried chicken.
Don’t miss: the Crunchwrap and the Kunafa Pancake.
5/5 — no notes. 💫“

“Came here for dinner with friends, and it did not disappoint. The Caesar salad is easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC; it was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The hummus and pita were solid, though not particularly remarkable. The rice was slightly dry, but still very tasty overall.“

“This food exceeds all expectations for a hole in the wall. They have some interesting things on the menu, but they really nail the basics. The rice, bread and meat are perfectly cooked, seasoned and oiled. If this food was served at a fancy place on the waterfront, they could easily charge 5x.“

“We ordered so many incredible signature dishes. The lamb moussaka was 5 stars! To really test them we ordered one of the best lahmanchoun’s we’ve tasted in NY! Cozy atmosphere, attentive waitstaff, Momo JC definitely exceeded our expectations!“

“Such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The East Village really needs more classy places like this - everything here feels thoughtfully put together, from the food to the space to the small details. It has a calm, warm, understated elegance that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in.
It’s the kind of place where you can actually sit down and talk with friends like you would at home, no yelling over noise, no feeling rushed. In an area full of loud bars and fast food, this honestly feels like a breath of fresh air.
The grilled dishes and fish were great, the mezza selection was especially good. We finished with mint tea and pudding. It was perfect. This feels like one of those spots we’ll keep coming back to.“

“I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“Everything good in that restaurant, the food the staff and portions are pretty generous , but the only thing I don’t like there it’s Ramadan and they selling Israeli dates which I don’t like , so please get Palestinian dates and get rid of the ones you have .“

“For my birthday, I had to do something special… and this felt like a full NYC luxury moment.
From the ambiance to the presentation, everything felt elevated.
The flavors? Rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced.
As a Lebanese girl, this one hit home 🇱🇧❤️
The details, the vibe, the service… 10/10.
Definitely one of those spots you go to for a special night.“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Google maps got us here with no problem, but the restaurant name has changed.
I ended up sampling four different appetizers. They were all excellent. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I don't know if the noise level is an issue as only one other table was occupied while we were there.“

“I grabbed the Falafel Bowl from Naya - 39th & Broadway through MealPal and wow, it’s a flavor bomb! The creamy tahini and zesty spicy smoky red sauce kicked the fresh cabbage slaw and pickled cucumber up a notch. So savory and spiced perfectly—highly recommend!“

“My maternal grandmother baked her own bread in her bread kitchen. It was the best. Karam's food and bread fills the void she left behind. You won't find anything better!“
