“This was the worst fish fry I have ever had in my life. The batter was terrible fish was so over cooked it was mushy the mashed potatoes were like eating glue with terrible salty gravy. Me and my friend hardly touched our dinner and the waitress never asked if something was wrong with the food. She removed our dishes and asked us if we wanted dessert. The waitress herself was very pleasant but I would definitely advise not going to this restaurant to eat!!!!”

“Went here for our first time. Been to other Griffons before so we thought to try here in youngstown. The atmosphere is pleasant and open. The menu is very limited. I ordered the double burger and my wife ordered the chicken sandwich. She wanted lettuce, onion and tomato on it. They don't have that! I saw a salad on the menu, what do they make it out of? Also chips with our order, no fries. The bartender was our server also. He was pleasant and attentive. Overall not very pleased with it Overall. But on the plus side I think the prices are a bit lower than the other Griffons.”

“My husband and I visited Niagara on the Lake for the first time yesterday. We stopped into Fritters on the Lake and were absolutely so impressed. Not only was the lunch recommendation on point; the fritters were absolutely amazing. However, the best thing ever was the service! Zoran was the kindest person ever and when I spoke to my family by phone later in the day-he was the first one I told them about. I’m not sure when I’ll make it back but Fritters on the Lake will be my first stop and everyone that is headed that way will have my highest recommendation. “What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all the next time we are in Niagara on the Lake.”

“Had a great time wine tasting here. This was a random pick because they had a great public tour offer ($25- two for one), and was open till 6 pm unlike most places which close at 5, and they have their restaurant right there.

Andreas was the touring guy, he was very excited to share history about this place, and show us the winery. Glad I picked this place.

This was a different experience than usual wine tasting experience, perfect for history geeks who like to know stories behind everything.

“How do you smash burgers and one of the burgers are here one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried and apparently they’re made from scratch.

Jill was my waitress, and she was so kind and helpful. She actually helped me pick what I beer I would want to drink and she should deafly get a raise hahaha.”
