“Simply incredible tacos, amongst the best I’ve ever had in my life and easily the best in Cincinnati. The al pastor is to die for. Seriously, just go to this place - it may look unassuming given it’s a food truck parked in a BP, but the food is top notch. The guys who work there are also super friendly, great service. Only downside is it’s cash only but a small inconvenience for such incredible food.“
“We came to Cincinnati for business this weekOur mission was to find good food. Well, we found food that was AMAZING! Absolutely delicious and portioned perfectly. Service was good. There was a bit of a language barrier but, all around great. The environment was very comfortable. It has an outside patio with ceiling fans and a covered patio. It was the best!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and vegan options“
“This taco truck is the sole reason I survived last winter in the city. The chorizo burrito brings me more joy than I can put into words. The staff are very kind, the wait is always minimal, and the food is consistently on point. I would give them 6 stars if I could.“
“This place has a 4.9 rating (at the time of this review) for good reason. The food is always super fresh at a super reasonable price. The owners are great as well. It is both vegetarian and meat-eater friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop by.Parking: In addition to street parking, there is a huge community parking lot behind the building that is free.“
“Best tacos around. I only gave it 4 stars on atmosphere because it's a taco truck in a gas station parking lot but food and service are 100%5 stars. Chicken chorizo quesadilla are money. Ask for sauce and extra sour cream. Yes I ate 5 of them but I'm “
“It's a food truck located by gas station (inside the parking area). We tacos, tortas and quesadilla. Cash ONLY. $38 for 3 orders. Not bad for price. And the portion size is big (see tortas pic below). They're delish and filling. Definitely coming back for more. Try not to go around 12 noon, super busy. There are 2 tables or you can eat in your car. For drinks, you can get them in the gas station store.Parking: Located in gas station parking lot“
“Have had decent experiences here. The salsa is good. The queso& enchiladas are good. Unfortunately the tacos were super bland. We’ve been multiple times and each time our server has been slow, doesn’t get us refills, doesn’t understand basic questions that affect our order. I want to love it but can’t.“
“I was looking for a place with a fun atmosphere to improve a rainy day, and this did the job!The aesthetic is colorful and eclectic, the music is loud, there are drinks with fireworks, and birthday celebrations with drums :)This definitely isn't a place you would like if you are looking for quiet and relaxing. The food was very good in my opinion and in my son's opinion. I got the chicken quesadilla and my son got steak soft tacos... so we went basic in the whole scheme of things, but I really liked that there were onions and cilantro in both, and the meat was very flavorful and juicy. My son said that these were his favorite steak tacos. The hostess definitely could have put a smile on her face, but our server was very friendly and attentive. We live in NKY and this will be our new go-to for Mexican food!“
“A really great first experience. Service, whether it was drink orders or food delivery, was hands down the absolute fastest I’d ever received. Have to say it’s probably my new favorite place to eat. Tried the burrito El Barzon and it was everything I hoped it would be. All in all a great experience.“
“Another great Mexican restaurant with wonderful lunch specials and friendly staff Plenty of great food options to choose from as well as a full service bar if interested too. Very tasty black beans when adding extra salt pepper and salsa to it“
“This is legitimately one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The flavors were just so good and not overly done, and the chips and salsa were equally good. The inside is a bit of a pigsty and I think they’re missing out on a lot of indoor potential.Don’t walk, run to this place.“
“Hubs and I went here for a mid-week meal. It took a bit of convincing because he isn't a fan of most Mexican restaurants. However, his attitude changed when he saw the menu and got his meal. It was tasty and "fresh," not "stodgy." The service was great and the place is tidy and clean. This is my new fave place to go when I have a hankering for Mexican.“
“I don’t often give 5 stars but this place does deserve it. The atmosphere is quite unique with custom chairs and booths. I had the Tuesday special which was $2 tacos - chicken, steak, pork and el pastor-so good. Unfortunately there was not a fish taco but what they did have was excellent. My husband had fajitas-so much food came sizzling to the table. Really a place not to be missed when in the area.“
“We are quite lucky to get organic meals in bowls, with no preservatives, no gluten or wheat, little soy, and if no lactose.Vegetarian options: Lettuce; spinach; mix of corn and cut onions; cut pineapple pieces;Dietary restrictions: Just over one-fourth of their food is organic.Kid-friendliness: Generally kind to people of all ages, as well as male and female.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of ramps to get into the suites at this building.“
“The vibe was awesome. The food was even better. I sat up at the bar and chatted with the bartender and the owner. The owner is exactly what a business like this needs. Someone out there on the floor chatting with customers supporting his staff and making sure that all the needs are met and the customers happy. My expectations walking in we're low. I was wrong. I didn't think I would be back after the first visit. I'm already planning my next one. The item on the menu are a little bit more expensive but absolutely worth it.I would not be shocked to see this restaurant being featured on traveling social media content creators and food network TV shows. Great job! Can't wait to try more of the menu.“
“Best Mexican food in the area. Husband and I have our faves from their menu but I can honestly say I have never had anything but delicious food from this restaurant. Less than 5 minutes from Amelia Kroger, it is convenient for take out. Polite, efficient service. Thanks Guys!“
“Amazing simple tacos at a modest looking (CASH ONLY) food truck! | Price $3 per taco | Rating 10/10There is not much to say about this taco and more truck. Stop by when we couldn't find food we wanted and will be back soon. Its a simple truck with a small parking lot and a little covering to avoid rain. Their menu is simple with tacos, quesadillas, burritos and a few other foods. Tacos are what we got for $3 each and we tried all their flavors.Everything was good but the lengua (beef tongue) tacos were the clear winner! They were juicy, lightly seasoned and like the other tacos they came on two corn tortillas with green and red sauce, onion, cilantro and the usually toppings. If you want a small meal I would go 3 tacos, if you are hungry or bigger 5 or 6. Me and my Gf split 7 for dinner.I have no complaints but things to know before you go. Cash only, outdoor, no seating, wait for your order, english spoken as second language. This is now my primary taco truck! Hope you enjoy!“
“The food and service were great. The first time we sat outside as they have a large outdoor dining area, the next time we sat inside. Both times the food and service have been amazing. The arroz con pollo was my favorite but the chori pollo has taken the lead. Either way you can't go wrong. If you can take the heat, ask for the homemade hot sauce, you may or not regret it.“
“Food is almost always excellent! My biggest beef is the reward program. I could come in every day for lunch and spend 7-10 $ and get a stamp each day for 35-50 dollars of food. I rarely eat there at lunch and most frequently take out dinner. Normally I take 3-4 entrees home consistently totaling 40-55 $ but only get ONE stamp on the card. Lets say I come in once a week and end up averaging 45$ each visit. that's 4 stamps for $180 of business in a month The lunch person spends 150-200$ and gets 20 stamps. Just doesn't make any sense.Vegetarian options: Most all dishes can be tweaked as meatless if desiredParking: Plaza parking always sufficient even on weekends“
“We dined in for a late lunch/early dinner around 3PM on a Saturday. Parking was easy, and there were only a few other people eating at the same time as us. We were impressed with the quality, speed of service, and large serving size of the food that we ordered. Our table shared the Chips & Dip Sampler, and I enjoyed the Bandito Super Bowl. Not only is the food great, but the interior aesthetic is unique and fun. Highly recommend checking this place out!“
“I love this place! The service is always excellent.I usually get the fajitas which are so yummy . This time we tried the Mexico City tacos and the Enchilada and burrito plate on the lunch meal. The tacos were ok; the meat was very good but I think I’ll stick to the fajitas. I recommend steak over chicken. Guac is good too.Parking: Plenty of parking in this complex“
“The best secret in NKY! We always order carry out as times may very when dining in. The food is so, so good. Everything is scratch made by a wonderful family from Guatamala. Birria Grilled Cheese, fish tacos, massive tortas! so many great options.“
“El Rio Grande offers an exceptional dining experience with its mouth watering Xangos dessert, a true delight! The Fajita sizzler for 2 is a generous feast capable of satisfying even a group of 4, boasting ample portions, freshly prepared sides, and flavorful sauces. The outstanding service complements the delectable cuisine, making it a must-visit destination for lovers of Mexican cuisine seeking quality and quantity in equal measure.Vegetarian options: Every dish can easily be made vegetarian by simply removing the meat and adding in some refried or black beans.Dietary restrictions: When you make a reservation at a restaurant, be sure to tell the staff about any dietary restrictions or preferences you have. If they can't accommodate you, they may be able to recommend other restaurants that can.Parking: On busy days spots directly in front of the restaurant fill up quickly, but there is plenty of parking in the parking areas adjacent to the exact location.Kid-friendliness: A warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of room at the tables, colorful seating and wall decorations as well as enough ambient music to ensure even those children that are a bit loud won't disturb others.Wheelchair accessibility: This location has no barriers to entry and both front doors are wheelchair width and easily navigable. There is a slight curb directly in front of the restaurant but a ramp on the right hand side of the sidewalk.“
“No words for how good these tacos. We also tried the chicken chimichanga and that was delicious well. What really took the cake (or took the taco) was their guacamole. Clearly had just been made and was so good. The vibes inside are very fun, we sat at the counter. The spinning chairs slayed. We were in and out in less than an hour. Very quick and nice people.“
“Absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly, the margaritas are great, and the food is always delicious. Some of my favorite dishes are their chile relleno, taquitos, and tacos al pastor! It’s also a fun spot for a birthday celebration!“
“Great little place for quick Mex. The guac, salsa, and queso were all really good. Small place, impressed they have both Modelo and Dos Equis Amber on draft. Plus lots of bottled beer. Some Mex joints struggle to carry good Mex beer. Recommend for a quick bite. Order at counter, food is delivered to table.“
“There are four of us that go every Monday evening. The food is delicious; we usually have chicken or steak fajitas and frozen margaritas for $3.99 on Mondays. The staff is friendly and very attentive to needs. The restrooms are cleaner than any restaurant I've been in and they smell very good. I guarantee you will love this restaurant.P.S. if you shop Kroger Crossroads, the back of your receipt will include a $5.00 coupon.“
“This place is fun you can get drinks and food it has Mexican it has hamburgers wings and more!!! They do karaoke on the weekends… the severs are fun and they are nice and keep up with everything!!!Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menuDietary restrictions: If you have a dietary restriction they will work with you.Parking: They have a good size park lotKid-friendliness: They have a good kid friendly foodsWheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and they make sure that everyone has access to the floor and the bathroom“
“One of my top taco trucks in the area is tacos locosIt’s hard finding a good taco in the TristateTacos locos definitely deliversMy go to is their chicken tacos with extra salsa verdeTheir chicken is so succulent and juicyI don’t even need to put lime on it it’s good the way it isThe salsa verde ( green salsa) is hot just the way I like itI only have 3 top taco spots that I love in the area and tacos locos is my go toThey also deliver via DoorDash!Love this truck!“
“Originally went to the location in Mt repose and the line was super long and there looked to be only 2 employees working at the time. We waited for about 10 minutes and the line hadn't even moved, so we decided to see if this location was any better. There was a line, but it went fast. We waited maybe 5 minutes. There were 6 employees that I could see.I feel sorry for the employees at the other location.I recommend taco Tuesdays!“
“I am in town on business, and was STOKED to find healthy, good, fast food 2 min from my hotel. So good in fact this is my 3rd meal in my 3 night 4 day stay.I really wish my neighborhood in Louisville KY had as many healthy quick options. Or any really, we have zip.And Jimmy Carter is delish ?“
“Another great experience yesterday. We love how that they are open later and have never been dissatisfied. The food is so amazing and such great portions sizes. They offer options for the kids as well. They have added more to their menu. Love this truck!“
“So when we went on vacation to Ohio and me and my partner ate here and yeah the food was great but the waiter we had was amazing. This was in October and I just think about him from time to time. I hope he has a good night. We had the best time and he made our night great ya know? If we ever find ourselves in Ohio again, will for sure be coming back. I wish I knew his name. He deserves everything good in the world to happen to him.“
“We stopped here to grab lunch one day and it was lovely! It was a beautiful day and a lovely patio outside to sit. The inside decor is really fun and very themed. The margaritas are strong!! Which was great for us! The food was delicious - chicken was cooked really well and had a lot of flavor. I'd absolutely recommend!“
“This place is awesome! Super fun atmosphere, food was fantastic and the margaritas taste phenomenal. The only reason I gave a 4 star review instead of 5 is because every margarita I’ve gotten comes out in a flower vase with a tiny little opening instead of a regular glass even AFTER requesting a normal glass after my first one! Not being able to stir my marg and have a lick of salt kinda ruined it for me! Other than that we had a great time!“
“Stopped in for a late weekday lunch. Huevos Rancheros were delicious and fresh. Only thing that would make it better is more and original vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Pretty much the same old options as other Mexican style restaurants. In this day an age you would think there would be better options.“
“Been coming here for years. My favorite Mexican place in town. Great salsa and chips (not free), great service, and more often than not, orders are cooked very well! My regular is to get Mexican flag burrito (even though it's actually the Italian flag :p) Maybe a slice of jalapeño can represent the seal on the flag.Definitely reccomend“
“This was not my first time at a Hot Head Burritos but it was my first time in a while. The Newport location was fantastic. We had 7 people in our party and we all loved our food. I had a toasted burrito. The sauce that I chose was the southwest ranch and will definitely get it again. Unlike other burrito locations, Hot Head offers a lot of sauces/flavor options. The staff were all friendly and attentive. I am glad that we chose to go there and will become regulars. Thank you for great food and service.“
“Not once, in the five years I have been coming to El Rancho Grande in Kenwood, have I ever had a poor experience. The staff is nothing short of exemplary, the premises are always clean, and the food is wonderful. I cannot recommend coming here enough. The manager of this location takes pride in their establishment and it clearly shows. Thanks for being a great local staple!“
“Chuy's always does a great job for us. The menu is on the smaller side, but a variety of delicious sauces spices things up- literally. The food is great and they've managed to keep their prices reasonable. There is an eclectic and fun vibe in the restaurant. It's a go to spot for our family. Be sure to try the jalapeno sauce that comes free with chips and salsa- we love it!Kid-friendliness: The kids meal comes with an orange push-pop or a vanilla ice cream cup- they also have a few "standard" kids meal options like chicken tenders and burgers with fries in addition to burritos and tacos.“
“One of the best restaurants around. They have a huge menu and everything is so good. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Sometimes they have a guy who comes in and does balloon animals. The drinks are very good as well.Vegetarian options: Very delicious vegetarian. Options. The vegetarian fajitas are amazing.Kid-friendliness: Excellent kids menu with everything from burgers to tacos.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“
“Absolutely a hidden gem in Cincinnati. Real authentic Mexican food. I've been a regular in the past year or two and had tried everything on the menu and a few off the menu. All great especially lengua, cabeza and the tortas(huge). Owner family is friendly.Vegetarian options: You don't really go to taco truck for vegetarian stuff.Parking: It's in a gas station just park where you see fit.“
“El Pueblo was one of my pre pandemic go to places. I am guessing we ate here a couple to three times a month. Recently we started this back up again and I was happy they remain a good place to get a decent meal for a good price. The staff is always friendly with quick service. They used to have a band every Thursday, I'm not sure if they still do but to be honest I always thought it was a bit small to pack in a group of singers. Stop in and say hi to the staff they are always happy to see you.“
“We've decided to work on a little tour of Cincinnati style chili, and picked Gold Star for our next version. We ordered ahead online, but service was slow and it wasn't ready when quoted. The food itself was very good - we got two cheese coneys, two 4-Ways with onions, a 3-Way, and fries, so that we could get a good sample size. It was well packaged for carryout.“
“I had great enchiladas verde here. Beer was cold, chips were tasty, and service was excellent. I had my doubts before going inside, as the neighborhood seemed a bit depressing, but I’m glad I went for it.I liked the set up with many colorful booths. Music was good. Menu has a lot of options.“

“I just moved to Ohio from Chicago so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find good Mexican food here. Where I lived previously, we had a various amount of Mexican restaurants to choose from. My family and I came here today and we were not disappointed one bit! We were greeted by a friendly lady at the front and then seated. Their chips and salsa were very good! I had an Horchata to drink which was amazing as well. I ordered cheese enchiladas. They were great! I was not expecting the food to be as amazing as it was. I also enjoyed the colorful atmosphere of the restaurant. Everyone here is so nice and they have excellent service. I have zero complaints, everything was absolutely wonderful and I will definitely be returning!“
“Their chips and salsa was great. I got the shrimp Fajita. It was good, but I only had, like, 8 shrimp. It was difficult to understand the waitress. When she was ready to take our order, I asked for more salsa (party of 4) she immediately left the table, got the salsa, put it on our table then left and didn't take our order.“
“Fast, reasonably priced, and a huge menu with something for everyone. I have been coming to El Toro Bravo for years now and every time I leave happy and full. Their drinks are delicious and huge! We love to get the veggie fajitas and Quesobarrias.“
“I had a really good experience today, I kinda gave up on chipotle. However today I gave them another chance. Our food was perfect to order, and they were very polite and nice. My receipt from 5:06 pm said Elliott was the host, and I’m pretty sure the female that finished my bowl was Dylan. Maybe she’s the manager, I’m not sure. She as so friendly though. I will be back“
