“Ok, I used to do a lot of door dash during the whole covid thing when my company had laid off the majority of its workforce. It was during this time in my life that I learned about Choolaah. I would pick up tons of orders from this place, and it ALWAYS smelled amazing inside. 4 years later, I finally went to Choolaah for the first time for me! I took my boy, and we checked it out. Choolaah is an experience. It's Indonesian fast food. Which means it has a spicy component, but also a fresher, healthier side. I would say cost wise it's definitely more expensive than McD or Wendy's, but the food is MUCH healthier. You are paying for that fresh, wholesome food. They make their own bread fresh right in front of you using these huge fired kilns behind a wall of glass. They cook their meats in these kilns as well. While you can get your food without a lot of spice, the options to really spice it up are phenomenal. And remember, the addition of some spices to food helps ramp up your metabolism, which in turn helps burn body fat. So not only will you get a great tasting meal, but you'll also get the key to turn on your metabolism. That's a win win for me. Check it out,“

“We stopped by this restaurant based on high recommendation of having great food. It may have great food, but quality service is lacking. After being seated for nearly 20 minutes and not having a waiter stop by to even ask for our drinks, I decided to walk to the host. Our server had apparently forgotten about us. Prior to this, I saw and waved at the manager, who clearly saw me, but who, instead, ignored me. By dessert time, one of us ordered key lime pie and was incorrectly given cheesecake. This time, it took nearly 15 minutes to get the key lime pie. Although I have to say the food/dessert were delicious, we were very disappointed with the service. This place should have it, but it was not there.“

“Our server Meghan was amazing here on Valentines night 2025. Thanks for the great food and great service! The picture is of my empty teriyaki chicken and my husband’s empty orange chicken plates! The food was very good. We ordered Northern ribs (they don’t have sauce) Meghan was nice enough to get us some sauce on the side then we decided that we liked them with AND without the sauce. We will be back!“

“This is a throwback to the days when all department stores had restaurants, tea rooms, bars, etc. The Walnut Room in Macy's (formerly Marshall Field) State Street store in Chicago is still the quintessential department store restaurant. I am so happy that Nordstrom continues this tradition throughout the US. I love the Nordstrom Grille restaurant at the Beachwood Place Nordstrom in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. I go there a lot. Plus they sometimes offer special holiday-themed breakfasts for kids/families (i.e., Spring, Easter, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.).

Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and loves the food at the Nordstrom Grille. She always finds something she likes.“

“I would have given it 5 stars but I ordered a vegetarian dish and they charged me extra to substitute tofu instead of chicken. They also charged me credit card fee.

The pineapple fried was really good - one of the best in the area. The staff was friendly and worked with us for our dietary restrictions.
