“General tsos chicken ordered medium spicy only left a tiny amount of spicy feeling after eating the whole thing. Definitely should bump up to hot next time. Their spicy levels include medium, hot extra spicy, 2x, 3x, etc. The eggrolls have shrimp in them. Fast pleasant service, even over lunch.“

“Transcendent meal. Chef Liu Fang has taken the authentic flavors and ideas of China and brought them to life in a new way. After living in China for nearly a decade, I generally don’t expect US Chinese cuisine to capture real Chinese flavors. Abundance Culinary was just incredible. The Honey Ma wings are tough to top, and I’ve never had Chinese peppercorns to fresh and fragrant. That numbing sensation is pure happiness. Gong Bao Brussel Sprouts are crack. The Ginseng Chicken is hearty and warming. Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef and Lazi Chicken are both crowd favorites for good reason. Turns out my 11yo daughter likes Lamb Shank. Who knew? The space is so warm and inviting, there can’t be too many 1940s train car diners living as top shelf Chinese Restaurants. Abundance Culinary is truly in a class of its own.“

“Haven’t been here in a long time. The taste of the food has improved dramatically. The general tso was fantastic with a good flavor. The chicken fried rice was excellent but hardly any chicken in it. The Kung pao has a fantastic flavor but it is almost all just carrots. There were only three small pieces of green pepper in the whole dish, but loaded with carrots. The chicken lo mein was the only low point. Flavor was kind of bland. The other dishes all had fantastic flavors.“

“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“

“This was our first time there, and we were very pleased with everything. Ordering was easy, I like the combos they have. It was under $10 for a choice of meat, fried rice, and an egg roll. Each meal was a lot of food, and we were all satisfied. We ordered (3) meals, crab rangoons, and a lg veg fried rice. This was more than enough to feed 4 people, and was only $55 total, before tip.

The women I ordered with and picked up from was very nice. I assume she was one of the owners, and probably lives in NE Ohio. Which makes it even better! No issues with my order, and nothing missing from the order!“

I especially love their lunch specials Less than $10 without a tip ( but you should tip ). Lots of food, many could get two meals out of it! “Mostly delivery and take out but there are a couple tables so you can eat in the restaurant. Food is of reasonably good quality and well prepared. But, not the best Chinese food available but less expensive than the restaurants in the Asian neighborhood of Cleveland.

I have been eating here for decades and have consumed hundreds of meals at this restaurant. Overall I do recommend this restaurant for a quick, good value, made to order meal.“

“I am normally not a quick stop Chinese restaurant place. Typically I like sit down traditional Chinese restaurants. I was coming home from work the other night and I was very hungry and China Gate is right around the corner from me and I figured hey I'll stop I'll order something safe and get my belly full. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I had the a drop wonton soup , potstickers, and their combination chow mein. I was so impressed 2 Days Later after I ate my leftovers LOL. I ordered egg foo young which is a huge test for me because I'm in egg foo young fanatic. Also very delicious. And tonight my new favorite dish from them is Singapore noodles. And their crab rangoon to the side is just amazing. Good job China Gate! I will be a returning customer for years. If I had one piece of feedback it would be a little bit more flavor in your soup broth but other than that everything was fantastic. Also helps that it was extremely affordable versus a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant.“

“Never knew this place existed but clearly I was in the minority. Was quite busy with people ordering and picking up. Basic Chinese takeout place but the food was very good. Nice variety on the menu with some items you don't usually see. Staff was friendly, prices were competitive. Portions were about what you'd expect. The only real down is the parking. It's a very slim 1-way, 1 lane lot in front of the store front. There does look to be a small open lot to the left of the strip of stores that could be used. When I visited there were mounds of snow and uneven snow in the lot. Very treacherous for someone who isn't sure of foot. Will definitely be visiting again... When the weather is better!“

“I have been going to this restaurant for years, and they have never once disappointed me. I love the menu, and the food is always freshly cooked. The staff is friendly and periodically checks if we need anything or if our drinks need refilling. Everyone in my family and friends comes here; it is one of our favorite places to dine. “We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we've found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.

Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.“

“This time I would love to post a comment, I had the beef egg foo young on Sunday September 27th and the food was great EXCEPT THE GRAVY, listen guys the gravy on the beef egg foo young is the highlight of the meal, but your gravy is super thick and tastless, so when I make gravy, this is what I use, minced garlic, green onions, let fry a bit, all purpose flour with a touch of cornstarch slurry, mix with vegetables stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken slightly add chicken broth, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and soy sauce, pepper to taste and let it cook til slightly thicken constantly stirring, turn off fire and enjoy over your egg foo young patties.“

“We got food from Hunan One and the food was so good...it had the flavor of the old Chinese food places that were on superior and st.clair between E.30th and E.53rd...I have eaten there a bunch of time and I do not have one complaint...good size portions and the prices were surprisingly affordable..go there and get some!...you won't regret it“

“Ordered on a Tuesday 8:30pm. I ordered the Empress chicken with house special fried rice and 2 shrimp, 2 pork egg rolls. The Empress chicken was good I really liked the tender chicken and the sauce they use was perfect. The rice was kinda plain tasting it was better with soy sauce. I liked the shrimp egg roll more than the pork but they were both good. I would come back to try more food in the future.“

They lady at the register can come off as rude sometimes however, I've always chalked it up to her culture. She will speak and say hi as well as goodbye but she's never been one for small talk and that's ok... I go there to eat not to make a new friend. “I’ve been a longtime fan of Panda Express and usually enjoy the food. This time I got the cream cheese rangoons, string bean chicken, Cantonese BBQ brisket, and chow mein. The string bean chicken was great! We tried the BBQ brisket since it came back by popular demand, but it wasn’t for me. Some pieces were too chewy for my taste and difficult to eat, so I probably wouldn’t order that again. Still a fan overall and will definitely be back for my usual favorites.“

The sesame chicken had an orange after taste which I don't think I've ever tasted from when I've eaten it at other places. The sauce on them was loose which I'm used to thick sauces being on them. The order ended up being $15.25 after tax. They delivered within the 40 minute time frame they stated. Overall good dinner.“
