“Newly renovated dining area, super friendly servers.
I enjoyed all the food except the cross-bridge rice noodles. To me, cross-bridge rice noodles are supposed to have really oily and heavy chicken broth as soup base. The heavy chicken broth not only give cross-bridge rice noodles its rich flavor and creamy texture, but also helps keep the noodle warm (enough to cross the bridge. That's exactly why it's named like that). This on the other hand, is more like a regular rice noodles, just served in a heated pot. The taste is not bad though, it's just not reaching my standards of cross-bridge rice noodles, sorry.
Bubble milk tea is ?“

“Brittany was our server& she was AMAZING! She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality and quick wit! She was also patient & gave great suggestions. I hope we get her again. It was a nice end/start to the week (we came in on a Friday early evening), & we were so satisfied that we came back on Sunday and got a “to go” order!
Thanks Brittany! & Sam was also a great help ??“

“Delicious food, kind and attentive staff, and beautiful presentation! We went for lunch and tried a good chunk of the menu. The dumpling sampler was delicious (make sure to try their sauces!). The buns and miso tofu were equally as yummy. The rice pudding we had for dessert was phenomenal. We had my 12 month old daughter with us and even she couldn’t get enough! My only suggestion would be to add some high chairs to the dining room. ;)“

“I definitely need to come back for the Dim Sum (Friday through Sunday during lunch). I ordered just a small happy hour portion of the Walnut Prawns and they were immaculate.
Food initially seems an bit pricy, but they give you massive portions big enough to share. Jonathan our server was great, and did inform me that the Happy Hour portions are smaller (shown below). Both my companions ordered full portions and they took home a box each.“

“Husband picked up our food but he said service was great. There is no inside seating. The food was amazing! We had wonton soup, veggie lo mein, pork fried rice, pot stickers, and split an egg roll. I’ve been craving wonton soup. We got some yesterday from a different restaurant. It was awful. This more than made up for it. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. We will definitely get take away again. Highly recommend. (Sorry for the low quality photos. The lighting isn’t great right now.)
Wheelchair accessibility: Bumpy but a wheelchair can access the window.“

“I enjoyed my Kung Pao Chicken - extra spicy so much on Friday that I came back Saturday and ordered Beef with Mixed Vegetables - extra spicy. I had driven students into Brecksville both days for robotics tournaments. I hope I get those trips next year because I know where I'm having lunch! Great food and the owner's wife was an absolute gem!“

“The service is terrible. The Lady is very rude, but you won’t mind because the food is fantastic. Get the number 23 which is three types of dumplings on top of noodles in a soup. It’s very large and very filling and the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted.“

“This is our new favorite spot for Chinese cuisine. The food is fresh and delicious, service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. My favorite dish is the pineapple chicken, but everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious. Special shout out to Lori, who always greets us with a smile and is very pleasant.“

“The food is always amazing and very well priced! Brings me back to China The atmosphere is minimal, a little cold in the winter, and only 1 waitress but the flavor more than makes up for it!I recommend getting 3 dishes from the family style section per 2 people; you'll have leftovers. Rice is included“

“I have been coming here for over 5 years. This was the first Chinese restaurant I visited when I first moved nearby and I was glad to see they had general tso’s tofu. They accommodate my request to make it vegetarian with white rice and veggie egg rolls. The cashier always smiles when I come in and she recognizes my order. I’ve only had one time the food was wrong (made with meat) and they quickly made it over without any issue. It’s the best general tso’s tofu in the area - I have tried others but none have the same texture or sauce. I’ve had one time the egg roll was very oily, but that’s not usually the case, they’re usually very good. The prices also stay reasonable. Even if they are busy, I’ve never had to wait long after the time they committed when I do takeout ordering online (15 minutes from when I put the order in).Keep in mind that during the pandemic they may have had challenges like every other restaurant, but I am glad they’re still standing. I have moved from my previous neighborhood but I still make the drive to get their food before I will go to any other restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Tofu, veggie egg rolls
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian“

“Not one to usually review online. Will make exception for Beijing Garden. You can not go wrong ordering from this establishment. I especially love their lunch specials Less than $10 without a tip ( but you should tip ). Lots of food, many could get two meals out of it! Always very tasty, and service always with a smile and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“I had a wonderful experience at this charming restaurant, run by the sweetest elderly couple. They work so hard to provide great service, and it’s clear they put a lot of love into everything they do. I encourage everyone to visit and show kindness to this hardworking couple. Let’s support them and make sure their efforts are appreciated!“

“I got the beef lo mein lunch special. Lo Mein was great. Portionll was good. Meat was seasoned well. The fried rice I got with was not so good. I can't tell you what was wrong, just that it didn't taste good. The egg roll was ok...but smaller than what I'm used to seeing. All in all a great lunch for $6.50. Next time I'll try the white rice...
Parking: Parking in front and the side of the building.“

“We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we've found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.
Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.“

“The atmosphere is friendly, and the workers seem family oriented. The little child that sat next to me while I waited for my food was adorable. The extra spiced general tsaos and the lemon chicken are phenomenal. Cream cheese Rangoon was good but could have been cooked a little longer. Outside of that, though, it was a wonderful experience. Definitely will return.“

“I tried many different Chinese restaurant but this one has the best tase so far. For example, the wonton wrap is thinner making it better to eat and less carb, the noodle/lo mein is also lighter somehow but taste better. Anyway, it has good taste, feels less heavy on the stomach with affordable price, so my husband and I love it here.“

“Great food and great value here! We had the Lo mein, crab rangoon, and sweet and sour chicken. The serving sizes are very large. I ate the lo mein again for breakfast and there's still enough for lunch! Food met expectations and tasted fresh.Walk in pickup only, dining area blocked off.“

“This is the great place to eat, I love their food it's always so delicious no matter what I get. Not only is the food excellent, but they truly care, the other day I ordered some food that had shrimp in it, see I'm allergic to shrimp, because it was a call in order, they call me back to remind me that the food I had ordered had shrimp in it, I explained it was not for me. That showed me that they really cared, most restaurants would not have done that. Thank you Asian delight. ❤️“

“Your standard Chinese food place with all the usual hits. But service is prompt, the food is better than average, the location is convenient, and the restaurant is clean and open when it says it is - which believe it or not can be something of a rarity for this particular neighborhood. It might be 3-4 stars if you're used to a fancy Chinese restaurant in a more upscale area, but for a local takeout place in Midtown this is as good as it gets.“

“It's not an "done in" restaurant, so the atmosphere is pretty much irrelevant. The food is great! I've ordered everything they have on the menu over the years and enjoyed it all. Yes occasionally there will be a mishap and your order may not be satisfactory (but it is nowhere near as bad as McDonald's record) but they've always helped me with my issue politeness is key to resolving an issue, even for customers.“

“Yi Er Chuan is owned by the same family that runs Szechuan Gourmet (one of our favorite Chinese restaurants of all time) so we were excited to give it a try. The food, however, was actually a bit hit or miss. The tomato hotpot base was jam packed with flavor and umami richness and was hands down one of the best I've ever tasted, the vegetables and shredded beef were fresh, and the portion sizes were great value for the money. On the other hand, the dried tofu and the scallion pancake had a slightly off flavor, as if they were cooked with old oil or stored improperly. Moreover, while the signature malatang soup base was nutty and sufficiently spicy and numbing (especially when ordered at the "extra spicy" level!), it was also lacking in depth of flavor, and was boring to eat after a while. Maybe it would have been improved by a dipping sauce. The restaurant interior was clean but otherwise unremarkable, the waitstaff were exceptionally prompt and friendly, and the online touchpad ordering system was super convenient. Overall, this would be a great restaurant to bring newbies to introduce them to the concept of hotpot (since you don't need to worry about doing your own cooking), and we would come back, but it doesn't take the place of the original Szechaun Gourmet or some of the other "do it all yourself" hotpot restaurants in town.
Vegetarian options: Per the waitstaff, all soup bases are vegetarian. There are also a lot of vegetable and tofu options for hotpot or dry pot or stir fry.
Parking: Some limited parking in front of the store, lots of street parking on adjacent roads a block or two away.“

“A hidden gem just around the corner from Cleveland's Asia Town neighborhood! Good prices for the large portions of excellent, fresh food. Very friendly service, and the staff are clearly well-liked and respected by local residents. Another great plus is that they're open late. Also, they have a full bar and they sling some excellent cocktails. Try the signature drink, the Zombie ... you'll love it :) The business has been around for decades, and is definitely worth a visit!“

“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“

“The waiting area is a little rustic, but it's not for eating, so it passes. The parking can be tricky. It's small and tight, but with a little skill, it's manageable. Other than that, we enjoy the food. It's the freshest in the area, and the portions are ample.“
