“My experience at Smokey Bones was excellent. Made date night a great success. Tried the Bones Bar Bites menu and it was amazing. “There are a few places in German Village which can be someone's version of Cheers. This is ours. The food is spectacular and the servings are plentiful. Here you will find the tastiest burgers in the city. The draft beers are quality, the bartenders are great with a mixed drink. The original art on the wall is for sale and changes monthly, but everything else stays the same. The reason to go to the Mohawk is the atmosphere and the service. You will recognize the regulars after a while, and everyone in the restaurant will get to know you. When the servers ask you if you want your regular drink, or have half of your order written down by the time they ask if you know what you want, because they know what you'll order, you know your in a special place. That's the type of place the Mohawk is. It's the place where the tables are close enough that there are no strangers and your neighbor may engage you in conversation. “Stopped by here during lunch. I enjoy their royal decorations with so many beautiful wallpapers, mirrors and mirror frames. There were many people during lunch hours. The service mainly paid attention on the groups. My servers did apologize for less attention and told me my food would be ready patiently. The room temperature was a little cold, which made the food cool down quickly. Their burgers came with two cheesy patties. I ordered the chimi burger. The chimichurri sauce neutralized the oil and improved the burger taste. The Mac and cheese tasted decent and authentic but it cooled down quickly mainly due to their room temperature.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger and salads“

“I finally got around to eating here looking for a vegetarian restaurant. It's not that vegetarian but they have a lot of meat dishes and not too much in total vegetarianism at least that I could find. I did order a super salad base with chicken and the chicken was pretty dry but the problem I had with it was the chicken in the bowl was just too much compared to the salad part of it and the other problem was all their sauces are like mayonnaise based I'm not sure that they have mayonnaise in them but I'm trying to say that they are that consistency. I would rather have some liquid salad dressing to cut down on the fats. Except for somewhat dry chicken the food was very good cost me $12 The bowl was a good size I almost couldn't eat it and I do feel like I've got enough food in me to go all day.“

Service was great and food came out pretty quick. It was a bit loud and holding a conversation was cumbersome. Beer selection is good. Several local brews on tap or in can. No mints on the way out… booParking: We got lucky and grabbed the only available spot in the parking lot next to the restaurant. I imagine there is more parking near by and we were there at the busiest time for dinner.“
