“A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!)
My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda.

Overall I would recommend this to friends or family in the area and look forward to eating here again and again“

“It is a greasy Chinese food place but the best one in kenwood. I always order the chicken with garlic sauce and it has a ton of great vegetables. my kids love the mai fun noodles . Really the only place I would recccomend in the area bc it actually is the least “

“From the moment we made our reservation, we were treated to a hospitality and warmth sorely lacking in today's world. While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. While the shrimp toast appetizer, Wong's chicken, and Clay pot were delicious, beautifully prepared, we were overwhelmed by the presentation, taste, and experience of the coconut bread pudding with rum sauce. “Driving through eastern Cincy, we saw the reviews and stopped in for dinner. The inside is small and simple, but the staff were so very pleasant and we had some of the best Asian food we've ever had. The cup of egg drop soup is generous, more like a bowl, and was very tasty. The veggies in the rice dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked - crisp and not overdone. It was a constant stream of people picking up take-out orders while we ate; seems they were filling these orders in 10-15 minutes. And best of all, the prices are very reasonable. Great experience, will come back.“

“I am very critical of where I buy Chinese food. I have to say, Golden Chen was the best I have had in years. Even the reheated leftovers were mouth watering and making me wish I had more.
I don't have any pictures, I enjoyed my food too thoroughly to bother. But I had an egg roll and Chicken with Broccoli.
The egg roll was freshly made, crunchy yet soft on the inside and filled with a delicious variety of vegetables.
The Chicken and Broccoli was juicy and succulent. There was enough chicken for you to have a piece with every bite. The broccoli was perfectly steamed and abundant. There were sliced carrots that soaked up the sauce. Now the sauce 😋!!!! The perfect amount of, what seemed like, extra sauce that coated everything and was so packed with an amazing taste. Can I get this separately? Oh, so freaking good.
Now the last thing.... And this made the meal top notch, was the fried rice. A light brown in color full of peas, onions and small carrot pieces. It wasn't dry like so many other restaurants and had a flavor that was out of this world.
Combining all of these amazing foods.... Fantastic 😍

“The food and service are outstanding. The restaurant is clean. Gender neutral bathroom for customers only.
Love the 2 and 3 entree plates, it's an inexpensive way to get several choices, and the take home orders are large enough to share.
They have two free parking spots in back for customers, three metered spots on the street for anyone, and a metered parking lot across the street, (50cents for 15 minutes). There's a garage behind the restaurant. I don't know if it's paid or free parking.“

Vegetarian options: Nice selection.

Dietary restrictions: They offer a very good steamed vegetable and protein plate.“

“We’ve been here twice and wow! Just wow! The food is absolutely amazing and delicious! We’ve tried all the appetizers. I think the sushi was my favorite. We also each got a dinner bowl. They give you a bowl and you go to the bar and fill it up with whatever you want. A huge choice of spices and sauces to add to it and they cook it right there. They bring it to your table and there is so much delicious food. Enough for at least two meals. We go every time we’re in the area. We love this place. Highly recommend!“

“Not all Chinese restaurants are the same. And each one has its specialities. This one does a very good job in what they specialize, which is Guangdong/Shanghai style dish. What that means is that their speciality is not Sichuanese. So if you go there, you should order Guangdong/Shanghai food not Sichuanese. They do a phenomenal job with that dish.

You should get:
- Shanghai Style Eggplants
- Moo Goo Gai
- Sizzling Seafood Combination
(Any seafood menu was good from my experience)

These are not the best:
- Mapa Tofu or Double Cooked Pork (they are Sichuanese dish)“

“Always have a good selection but thos particular time we went, the food was Very dry and orange chicken was mushy. They have more veggies than meat in the entrees that include veggies. Portion size is getting smaller as the price increases. My family goes here alot. Overall their food us great!“

“Have been coming here for many years. Food is always great. Much better than the average Chinese takeout. Love the pork fried rice, has a great roasted flavor. We got the Hunan shrimp and beef and broccoli (ordered both extra spicy and they delivered!). Highly recommend the Hunan shrimp. Lots of veggies and tons of flavor. Was surprised with the addition of bamboo shoots but they were definitely one of my favorite parts. The beef and shrimp were very tender. The fried dumplings were very good as well. Will continue to come here.“

“Any time I go to kings island I get Panda Express. It's always been so good. This time was a little different, each person working the line gave different proportions. For example the lady in front of me got very slim rice and only a few pieces of chicken, I got all rice and bits of chicken and the kids behind me looked like they could feed a family of 6. “This is a great place for lunch when you can’t eat in, and you have to take your lunch back to the office. Call ahead! In 10 minutes, it’s ready for pick up.The lunch menu is what I really enjoy because it’s a lot like the dinner menu, with smaller portions.If you are looking for a new Chinese place, add this to your lunch time hunt.“

“This is our go to Chinese carry out in the area. Not the most convenient location for us, but it's the best tasting we've tried over the years. The standard Chinese menu is available and they are usually very quick with the food. Not a place I'd want to dine in as the atmosphere is kind of bleak, but for take out.“

“Phenomenal.Wanted spicy noodles to help with my hangover, went in-person and there wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but the cashier was very polite and told me to order what sounded good and they would make it spicy for me. Got chicken lo mein (spicy), an order of 8 steamed pork dumplings with dipping sauce, and an egg roll; all amazing. The chicken lo mein was a small order but still had a lot in it. Ready in about 5 minutes, granted there was only 1 other customer there at the time. $19 total bill for all 3 items.“
