“The food and service are top notch. Got an amazing lunch plate of kung pao chicken. The fried rice is perfectly smoky, light and flavorful. Chicken cooked nicely with plentiful portions. The egg drop soup was legit - big pieces of egg and a lot of flavor. Had to deduct a few stars because even though I was sitting comfortably inside the restaurant, when the door opens it lets in a cold burst of air. Not good in the winter, but at least the food and service warmed me up. Definitely recommend though.“

I had gotten the Beef Lo Mein and my girlfriend had the orange chicken. For my very first experience, it was so good and exceeded all of my expectations. Hot and sour soup is prob the best I've had, garlic beef was plentiful and delicious, egg roll is large, steamed chicken dumplings in the schezwan sauce, wow! Also had the double schezwan! All were hot and ready on time. Reasonably priced for large portion size. This is my new spot!“

Not only did they add onions, they also sent a side container of wok fried onions and green onions in brown sauce. That is exactly how you get a customer for life! <3“

They definitely crank out the orders, usually no more than 15 minutes when you call ahead. The staff can be a little cold at times, but not rude or objectionable. The dine in area is pretty basic tables and chairs, no real atmosphere. I always get it to go.“

“My husband and I are very particular about Thai food. Our sister-in-law is from Thailand so we are spoiled. We’ve been looking for a local restaurant because it isn’t always practical to drive 2 hours for dinner to her restaurant. The reviews for Wow’s were promising, so we decided to try it last night. I have to say that we were not disappointed. The food was all very fresh and delicious! My husband waited a few minutes when he arrived to pick up so we knew they were making it to order. The ingredients were all top notch and the flavors were spot on what we were accustomed to.
I had the basil chicken with fried rice which was so yummy and full of flavor. My husband had the chicken satay which he thoroughly enjoyed and he could not stop raving about one of the sauces that came with it. He also tried the garlic chicken and vegetables with steamed rice, which he was equally happy with.
All in all this was a great experience and we would absolutely recommend! We will definitely be returning.“

“If you’re looking for the best Chinese takeout around, China Wok on Pleasant Avenue in Fairfield is it. Every time we order, the food arrives piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they care about quality.

We ordered the crab rangoon, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, chicken lo mein, and General Tso’s chicken — and everything was outstanding. The rangoon was crispy and creamy, the soups were full of flavor, and the entrees were perfectly seasoned with generous portions. Nothing tastes bland or thrown together — it tastes like it was made with pride.

On top of amazing food, it feels great knowing we’re supporting a local, family-run business. Friendly people, fast service, and consistently great meals — China Wok has definitely become our go-to spot. Highly recommend!“

“Food is tasty, it’s hard to find a good restaurant with quality food. My only complaint is the fortune cookies, they used to have normal fun fortunes in them. Now it’s like all ads. I don’t want to open a cookie to be asked to scan a qr code to download an app. It’s ridiculous. I get enough of that on my phone, I don’t need it coming from my food. “I took my 2yr old and 7yr old here for lunch and they had a fun time cooking their own food. We got the bento lunch and it was delicious. I recommend the miso broth and spicy chicken. The mushroom broth is very light and tasty too. They keep napkins in a drawer under the front of the table which was very helpful with kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son was fascinated by the robot server. We will definitely be back soon. One of the best dining experiences we've had in a long long time.“

“A Chinese buffet with lots of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians ! They also have fresh fruit and several dessert choices including cookies, puddings ,jelly and ice cream. They have several hot soups . Everything we tried was delicious and I would definitely recommend this buffet. It has plenty of parking and is family friendly and handicapped accessible. Drinks were refilled quickly by the wait staff.“
