“The food and service are top notch. Got an amazing lunch plate of kung pao chicken. The fried rice is perfectly smoky, light and flavorful. Chicken cooked nicely with plentiful portions. The egg drop soup was legit - big pieces of egg and a lot of flavor. Had to deduct a few stars because even though I was sitting comfortably inside the restaurant, when the door opens it lets in a cold burst of air. Not good in the winter, but at least the food and service warmed me up. Definitely recommend though.“

“I am very critical of where I buy Chinese food. I have to say, Golden Chen was the best I have had in years. Even the reheated leftovers were mouth watering and making me wish I had more.
I don't have any pictures, I enjoyed my food too thoroughly to bother. But I had an egg roll and Chicken with Broccoli.
The egg roll was freshly made, crunchy yet soft on the inside and filled with a delicious variety of vegetables.
The Chicken and Broccoli was juicy and succulent. There was enough chicken for you to have a piece with every bite. The broccoli was perfectly steamed and abundant. There were sliced carrots that soaked up the sauce. Now the sauce 😋!!!! The perfect amount of, what seemed like, extra sauce that coated everything and was so packed with an amazing taste. Can I get this separately? Oh, so freaking good.
Now the last thing.... And this made the meal top notch, was the fried rice. A light brown in color full of peas, onions and small carrot pieces. It wasn't dry like so many other restaurants and had a flavor that was out of this world.
Combining all of these amazing foods.... Fantastic 😍

“Whenever I'm craving some good, Chinese comfort food, Chinese Imperial Inn is my go to. Every time I come in I am met with such kind service. The food is like a warm hug with every bite. I think its an excellent value. Consistently good quality and service. I dont know the woman's name who cashes you out but I adore her and always feel so welcomed when I come in. “This is a classic family-run Chinese restaurant. It is primarily for take-out, as accommodations for dining in are rather sparse, and their website does not show an option for delivery... but everything that I have ordered there has been good - I particularly enjoy their hot and sour soup.“

“Not all Chinese restaurants are the same. And each one has its specialities. This one does a very good job in what they specialize, which is Guangdong/Shanghai style dish. What that means is that their speciality is not Sichuanese. So if you go there, you should order Guangdong/Shanghai food not Sichuanese. They do a phenomenal job with that dish.

You should get:
- Shanghai Style Eggplants
- Moo Goo Gai
- Sizzling Seafood Combination
(Any seafood menu was good from my experience)

These are not the best:
- Mapa Tofu or Double Cooked Pork (they are Sichuanese dish)“

“We tried this for the first time on Christmas. While the wait was long, the food was amazing. Ordered the orange chicken platter with rice as well as the sesame chicken. Both sauces tasted great with just the right amount of spice level. I didn’t get any nasty pieces in the chicken which is kind of rare with Chinese food and I loved the crispy pieces. Prices were good as well. Will be back!“

“A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!)
My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda.

Overall I would recommend this to friends or family in the area and look forward to eating here again and again“

Got chicken lo mein (spicy), an order of 8 steamed pork dumplings with dipping sauce, and an egg roll; all amazing. The chicken lo mein was a small order but still had a lot in it. Ready in about 5 minutes, granted there was only 1 other customer there at the time. $19 total bill for all 3 items.“

“This place is Absolutely amazing experience! I ordered the Karapodi Gobi, Plain Dosa, and Haleem, and every single dish was incredible. The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. The Karapodi Gobi had the perfect spice, the Plain Dosa was fresh and beautifully made, and the Haleem was so flavorful and comforting that I even took some home to enjoy the next day to work!

What really stood out was the hospitality. Since I wasn’t familiar with some of the menu items, the staff kindly walked me through the menu, explained the dishes, and helped me choose. They were patient, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable. That level of service made the experience even better.

“I took my 2yr old and 7yr old here for lunch and they had a fun time cooking their own food. We got the bento lunch and it was delicious. I recommend the miso broth and spicy chicken. The mushroom broth is very light and tasty too. They keep napkins in a drawer under the front of the table which was very helpful with kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son was fascinated by the robot server. We will definitely be back soon. One of the best dining experiences we've had in a long long time.“
