My Greek friends said that Athens’ phyllo dough is the very best in the industry. When I was making baklava, spanakopita, and tiropita, I was able to easily separate, layer, and butter my sheets of phyllo. Hardly any of my sheets stuck together or tore. This phyllo dough also tastes delicious.“

From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with a shocking level of rudeness from the cashier, who also happened to be the cook. His attitude was appalling; it felt as though he was genuinely irritated that we dared to enter the establishment.

Every interaction was a struggle, as he mumbled out responses that left me wondering if he even wanted to be there. When I asked about the menu, his dismissive reply about the lack of Spanish rice was almost enough to make me walk out before placing an order. It’s hard to believe that a place with such a reputation could deliver such terrible customer service. I drove all the way from Akron, expecting a delightful meal, only to be met with disgust and disdain. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a welcoming dining experience.“

“Didn't know this place existed til I was driving around on a road trip. The place had some pretty awesome deals on bread, and such. They had some discounted for 2 for a $1. I ended up with some brat and sausage buns for $1.49 that retail for $3.89. I left pretty content.“

I was surprised that I couldn’t find any other bakeries that offered this, but I’m glad we went with White Flower. “I'm giving this place 5 stars bc I believe the tres leches is one of the best in the country, absolutely best in CLE. You get a ton of the milk sauce which I love, it's a very generous portion, and it tastes amazing. The whipped cream on top is actual cream, so there's no weird aftertaste that you get with cool whip. My favorite is the strawberry version , the tartness of the strawberries perfectly cuts the sweetness of the cake/milks. I can't recommend it enough!

“We had our first taste of a Festive Tree Cake as leftovers from friends—and the small pieces several days old were fabulous! They showed us pictures of the cakes and described how they were made. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice and the Black Forest. The cakes are marvelous, almost too lovely to cut into. The flavors did not disappoint.We have sent several cakes to friends, all of whom have had the same reaction as ours.
