The food is good- not healthy but it tastes good. It’s very loud and not a place for conversations. The mood is upbeat. The people work very hard. It’s more of a “get it done“ instead of timely service. They do not take reservations. We had a sports team of 14 people arrive on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated in a in impressive 15 minutes. The server did a good job taking our orders. Our food came out all at once – appetizers salad and entrées. with a crowd, our size and as busy as they were, I don’t think any of us really minded. However, if circumstances were different, we would’ve preferred appetizers to come out separately along with salads. Overall, our experience was great! The restaurant was clean! They had a test menu on the table, which was fun to review.“

“Update 3/1/2024: Still soo good. It seems that they've improved their ability to handle more customers since this past holiday season.

Previous: Not the best wait times during holidays, but we're not getting food from anywhere else on special occasions. We'll hopefully be able to for years to come :)

“I live 3 hours away and wanted to send a meal to my friend and her family who had just lost their mother. The staff were extremely helpful, empathetic, and kind to me on the phone. When my friends husband went to pick up, the staff again offered condolences and helped carry the food to the car. The food was amazing to my understanding! “I love this place! I have been eating here since my freshman year of high school and I’m now a senior and so upset I’m leaving for college cause I won’t be able to eat here so often. On a high school kids salary this place is extremely affordable, gives large portions and above all else is delicious. The family working here are extremely kind and generous people who clearly love what they do. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve had almost the entire menu. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon. He never understood the bad reviews and they even made me scared to eat here but DO NOT TRUST THEM. Majority of the High school and junior high eat here and never complain. This place is once again amazing, so much so I had to leave a review to let people know.“

“I’ve been to Harvest Moon quite a bit and I’ve always told myself I had a great experience, but not after today. Emma B gave me the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a while! She greeted me right away, talked me through the menu, gave me great suggestions, was very clear and direct, made my drink perfectly, checked on me multiple times, and the food was excellent! “Wonderful pizza, it’s always hot and fresh when I come to pick up and is always ready by the specified timeframe (20 minutes if ordering ASAP) and sometimes is even done earlier.

Sometimes the pizza can get really greasy and get all over the box making a mess but it has been a rare occasion for me. The Capone sauce makes up for it though; it is a flavorful and unique spicy sauce that any spice-tolerant person would enjoy.

The people in there are always nice, they welcome me in and assist me promptly. It also seems like their teamwork and morale is high as I always notice the workers laughing and working well together.

The app is pretty barebones but it gets the job done. I prefer ordering on there so I can receive rewards points because I don’t think you can in the web browser version. My only complaint is I wish the rewards system was fleshed out a bit more. Every 100 points ($100) you get a $10 off coupon for your next order. It’s nice but I wish there were more options for redeeming.

“The chef we had and the bartender on Saturday March 29 were THE BEST two to ever chef/bartend. Agung and Karlene were the best hosts I've ever had at any restaurant, ever. I specifically asked for their names for this review. The entire time, my 3 kids, my boyfriend and I didn't want for anything. Entertained every single second, had something to eat from beginning to end and cannot think of anything they could have done better. The food was absolutely perfect, every one of us had something different and everything was made to perfection. My drink from the bar was a new choice for me and I will be thinking of that particular one for years to come, I'm sure. She made it perfectly for someone who doesn't drink a lot of sugar. They really know how to take care of their guests. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 bravo. The owner should cherish them, as it's hard to find happy employees let alone ones who want to spread the happy to those around them. “Food is great. Replaced as needed. They don't always wait for it to be cold hard or empty trays before they switch like other buffets. Unlike other buffets, Asian Star's food that's supposed to be crispy is actually crispy and not soggy breading floating in sauce. I've been coming here for 25 years or more. I've been to several other buffets. No other local buffet compares.“
