“Been going here since 2018, but food got better in the last 3 years. We dine in twice a month and are big fans of their tamales (creamy masa with tasty shredded pork in red sauce filling) and chili rellenos (a huge chile in crispy batter, stuffed with overflowing, melted cheese and topped with ground beef in red sauce. Chile still has a good bite and not overcooked at all). Their Especial Los Mariachis Fajita is huge and overflowed with shrimps, carnitas, asada, chorizo, and chicken PLUS sliced onions, green and red peppers (we always opt for jalapenos instead). And once you're seated, they'll bring you (free) chips and refreshing salsa, which has a little kick to it. We love going there! The service is good, the waiters are always polite and respectful. The restaurant is clean with nice ambiance, good background Mexican music, and clean restrooms. Prices are on point and reflect the inflation and whatnot.“

“We are from Kentucky and were in Columbus for a concert. I’ve always wanted to try a place that has been featured on Triple D, and this was the best decision ever! High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. From now on, every trip to Columbus will include a stop at High Bank Distillery!“

“We needed a place to eat after OTHERWORLD and we found this on Google. Best decision ever. They provide free samples of yummy appetizers and the food itself was completely delicious. Very friendly owners and they treat you like family. I don’t like cheesecake majority of the time but tried theirs and it was also amazing. Spinach Dip, Mushroom Soup, Cheesecake and Burgers (lamb and beef) and the TEA were all phenomenal. 1000/10 recommend!“

“Overall really good experience. We had no wait on a Monday holiday, couldn’t believe how fast our food came out. Eggs Benny were amazing & the side potatoes were just as good! I wish there were more of a specialty coffee/latte menu. I was super disappointed when the waitress said only hot coffee or a cold brew 🥴 thought for sure a brunch place would have really good lattes.“

“I came in to get breakfast to go . They were a little busy when I got there . I sat down and was gave silverware and offered a drink right away . I was accommodated by the regulars and Kate the waitress about what I should order since it was my first time. Regulars recommended I get a half order of French toast and half order of biscuits . Kate recommended I get the gyro since she likes it and its popular. I also ordered hash browns and scrambled eggs . I took the food home and the eggs were missing but they gave me a credit for those next time I come back . Everything tasted really good, loved the hash browns 10/10. The French toast and gravy was really good, the biscuits were a little crispy thou . Fiancé says gyro was okay but pretty dry not much meat 5/10. Will definitely be back Tuesdays threw Fridays when Kate Works !! Thanks for the great first experience. BTW this breakfast/lunch place is right next to panera !!“

“pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

“I’m not from the area but I found out about Wario’s on TikTok. I have been to Wario’s twice now. The chicken cesar cutlet is AMAZING! The spuds and chicken parm is also amazing! My husband ordered the Philly and loved it. I highly recommend Wario’s. I wish there was one closer to where we are from! We will just have to make the 3 hour trip again 😂“

“Went in with a small group the night of Pride. Chad has what it takes to make the place run smooooooth. We watched him and his charisma and were very impressed with how he handled the crowd. He made everyone feel welcome and important (even when they tried to jump the line). Our waitress was Summer and she didn’t miss a beat. Everything we ordered came out hot and perfectly prepared!

“I’m visiting for Atlanta and just walked in here. The food was so good! The sushi was so fresh and flavorful! Also had the burger and triple dip. It was nice to have different cuisines in one meal. “I am a frequent visitor to this location for Cap City fine diner. All the employees are wonderful and super friendly. The food always comes out perfectly and if there’s ever an issue, they take care of it immediately. This dining spot has such a great variety and I need to give a shout out to a particular server. Matt is a sheer delight! Super respectful and knowledgeable about the menu.“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Me and my husband went there for dinner and to celebrate my birthday. It was the best Italian restaurant we have visited in Columbus so far. Loved the ambience and warm lights. Food was too good and filling as well. Also, there are a lot of options for Vegetarians. We loved the Eggplant parmesan the most! Definitely recommend!!“

“My friends, believe me when I say that the Chicken and Avocado Sandwich at this Cafe was one of the best I've ever had. I CRUSHED that sandwich like it was my last meal on the face of this earth. My husband had the cheeseburger and fries. He (rudely) didn't let me have a bite of the burger, but he said the flavor was fantastic. I did steal his fries, though, and they were crispy and delicious. We both got gluten free buns, with low expectations, but the buns were great, too! 10 out of 10, no notes. I'm already lobbying hard to come back tomorrow for lunch.“

“Very quiet!! Very polite atmosphere!!! No one hurling out F-Bombs!! Very peaceful.
I visited 6 - 10, 13 April 2026. My lunch destination for now on!!! I am a charter customer eating my first meals in 1979 prior to joining the US Army and a few times a week once my brother retired from the US Army in 1995.
This of course until the relocation to Main & College St.
The Lunch Special #1 is my mainstay!!!“
