“I have been eating from Chesapeake Giovanni's for years and tonight I ordered a pizza and it was the best pizza I had ever eaten!! Good job whomever made it!!! It was delicious!!!! The only thing I wish they would do is wear gloves when they handle people's salads and sandwiches! That's the only thing I won't order from there!”

“My Lady Friend read comments about this cafe and we made a special trip to try their food. Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. I have been many times to New Orleans and the food here is every bit as good as N.O.— I took a cup of Gumbo home too. Delicious !!”

“We’ve been coming here for quite some time now, such a great place. Today my husband and I were eating a quick lunch and all of a sudden he started getting hot and sweating really bad due to his blood sugar dropping (he’s a diabetic). Our waiter noticed and immediately took him into concern and brought him a cake on the house to help him. We love this place and the staff.”

“Backyard was recommended to me to try out. 100% worth your trip. I started off with a small order of the Mahi Mahi. I may say without any hesitation, some of the absolute BEST I have ever had. Served on a stone plate with a side of soy sauce and ginger. Then I got the small Memphis pizza. Came out perfectly sliced. It had the wood burning stove markings on the crust. Very flavorful. 10/10 definitely recommend! I definitely will be back!”

“Very kind people, they threw in an extra spring roll into my order. The food is great and the prices CANT be beaten!! It was 17$ for two people and a snack. I am considering returning every week just because it's so nice. The sitting area is fancy. They seem a bit busy with online orders but it's easy to get a spot to sit. 10/10 would recommend.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants, ever! I love to bring my out of town family and friends here and always recommend this place to clients. Ive dined here for many holidays, special occasions, last minute dinners, or “just because” at brunch, lunch, and dinner for years and have never ever had a bad experience. They’re creative with their menu options but also have dishes for the pickier eaters - they definitely know how to make a dish their own and every bite is full of flavor. One of my personal favorite dinner options is the salmon and/or their grilled chicken with the tzatziki but my NEW favorite is the bourbon peach glazed pork chop 😍 SO flavorful and the portion is just right, extra good with sweet potato fries and their honey glazed carrots. They’re always improving and curating cool dishes. Cocktails always hit just right, wide variety of local beers, etc. Staff is always accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Playlists always hit, vibes are always high, and the atmosphere is cozy. They keep the place super clean and I’ve always felt safe and comfortable to enjoy myself - no matter if I’m there 45 minutes or hours. Love it here!”
