“Sweet restaurant with a claw machine next to the front door. The greatest BBQ wings I have ever eaten! Way better than back home in New York, which is saying something! The ladies that served me were incredibly sweet and sincere, and only enhanced my experience. Absolutely wonderful all around and I would absolutely be a regular at this establishment if I was staying.“

Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. “If you enjoy Laury’s in Charleston, WV, you will love it here! It is downtown, so I was worried about parking, but we easily found a spot on the street nearby. Our waiter, Brian, was really great. Our salads and the bread…so good. We both ordered the filet mignon, between the two of us we had their roasted potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, and the baked macaroni and cheese. Just incredible. And their crème brûlée was also delicious. The dining area has low lighting and a cozy atmosphere. The building is really cool. Very nice place; especially for special evenings.“

“It’s kind of cheap and tacky to charge a customer because they used a credit card change all of $3.51 on $87 bill. I had a big south burger and he fried apples and Gouda Mac and cheese. The pork and the big south burger didn’t taste right no matter how much barbecue sauce I put on it. The fried apples need more sugar with the cinnamon. My wife had the banging out Burger garlic fries. She thought fries were too garlicky. overall experience was 85 out of 100.“

“We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.“

“my family and i stopped here for a quick lunch. i have 2 toddlers and a baby which makes everything a bit chaotic, but the hostess was incredibly patient and kind! she included my kids, even bringing them their own sweet and sour sauce that had already been cooled down. she never got annoyed with me for asking questions and she even taught my daughter how to use chopsticks which made her day! they made all our food fresh and it was delicious! i highly recommend going here just for the service and the food being good was a plus! we will 100% be back.“

They have a new arcade room in the back. Kept the kids busy during our short wait for our food and then we all played a little after we ate. We love Bombshells!“

We waited 45 minutes to be seated, then a full 65 minutes before food arrived, n our server didn't place one order (she later refused to charge for it). “We were visiting from Cincinnati and our hotel was right across the street. We came in for the video games, and I'm so glad that we did! I didn't get to try the beers, since I had to drive, but our food was fantastic. Delicious, good-sized wings... huge sandwiches... addictive fries. Our server was ridiculously patient with us (various members of our group kept wandering away to play arcade games, so it took us a WHILE to decide what we wanted). We'll be back next year🤞“

“The crown jewel pizza of the Jewel City! Huntington is a great town for 'za, but this one takes the cake for me. I've never had a bad pizza from here. I've been eating Monty's since I was a kid. I've had a couple pizzas over the years that maybe weren't quite as great as previous ones, but that is rare. They always deliver the goods. 5 stars.“

“Nawab Fine Indian Cuisine is a good restaurant to try if you’re in the 600 4th Ave, Huntington, WV area. It’s definitely worth your time to visit.

Been here a few times over the years. I used to frequent Huntington, WV and I would enjoy the different places and restaurants in the area. Nawab’s is a highlight if you’re into Indian food, spices and degrees of the spice spectrum. Seafood, chicken, lamb and goat are some of the proteins you can find in this place.

Today, my wife and I had a couple of their entrees, Scallop Jalfrezie with the hottest spices. Kashmiri Chicken with medium heat in the spices. A serving of garlic and cheese Naan. And a Strawberry Lassi to cleanse your palate.

The waiter filled our glasses with fresh ice water, then left the remaining pitcher.

It was a little busy with customers, plus the ones who came in for a pick up of their own meals. Our food came hot and fresh within 10 minutes. The aroma was so nice. The taste even better. I won’t lie, but the hottest spices on my dish had me drinking some water for the first few bites, hahahaha. But afterwards, no problem.

My wife and I shared our dishes as usual, and she even enjoyed my dish, as I also enjoyed hers.

So if you’re in the area, there’s maybe 15-20 parking spaces. And they’ll be more than happy to serve you, your sweetie, or your group of friends or colleagues.
