“Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. A MUST STOP....... THANK YOU !!“

“Im picky about potato salad and theirs is so so good. The meats are all so good it's hard to chose. The cornbread is Grandma approved and she is picky about her cornbread 91 and she loved it. She also had the chicken and loved it. The deserts are nice size and yummy my husband had the chocolate cake said it was really good Granma and I had the banana pudding very good. Wish their prices were a little lower but hey all restaurants are now expensive but the food is worth it. Yummy 😋“

“I would recommend Velvet Smoke BBQ in white oak. One of the best bbq places I have ever had and it comes out of a small mom and pop shop. The ribs, burnt ends, and the wings are by far my favorite. Best BBQ in town, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. If you are in the Cincinnati, OH area you need to check out this place!! 10/10!“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

The similarities to chipotle and with the cheese because the rice the chicken, the toppings were different, even though the ideas are similar. The coconut hot sauce was amazing and flavorful, and didn’t scorch your tongue so the rest of the flavors didn’t come through. The brisket absolutely juicy And amazing and good just by itself. “It had been probably 40 years since I've eaten here! Asking a Child, I lived on Mongomery Ave. The last time I had eaten here my grandparents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! They are long gone now. But it was nice to visit and enjoy the meal with my Aunt and brother. I bought some of their famous bottled BBQ sauce. But they make their own ranch dressing that they should also bottle. It is the best ranch I've ever had.“

“Went here with a few friends and had an awesome time. The staff treated us like royalty and the owner recognized one person in our group as one of their regulars. The wings were outstanding and you can order them per wing instead of it being a fixed amount, which is always my preference. This was my fist time there and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great location, the inside is really cool with the exposed barrels displayed, and it was very clean. Plenty of TVs inside the bar area too. Our group will be going back again soon.“

“I have always loved this place and I think that they still serve good food not sure what happened on Sunday the 9th we never go out to eat on a Sunday for good reasons but had an early dinner there and after tasting the Brussel sprouts I fell so ill please throw out spoilt food and don't serve it to people it was the worst feeling like you're going to die.“

“Their food has gone downhill. I ordered a burger. It came with a mystery substance on the top of the bun. I asked the waitress what is was. She said she didn't know, then said it was oil. Why oil, the bun wasn't grilled or toasted. Just a cold stale bun. Awful“

“Relaxing environment ! The staff seemed a bit busy but they are always friendly when I had previously went in. Not sure how I feel about the tile. It was a bit slick and almost rubbery to the touch. The flesh cart for food delivery is a surprising twist but food tasted good so can’t complain!“

“I remember trying this place when I first moved to Cincinnati because it’s conveniently right around the corner and wanted to try it based on all the good reviews, I remember disliking half of my meal but liking the other half , I remember the macaroni and cheese being pretty good and the cornbread being the best I’ve ever had fast forward to today and still kind of mixed reviews because once again I liked some parts and disliked other parts , the macaroni this time wasn’t that great it was very oily ? Potato salad was good and the hot dog was good , the Jamaican beef patty was tough asf , cornbread was decent , I’ll probably try again as I always give places a three strikes and your out type of thing not gonna say it’s great but it’s good I think I just need to keep trying different things from them til I get a niche for something I like“
